There's a poll about that around somewhere. It depends how long your foreskin is - some don't need to pull it back. And for those who do, you're right, it's variable. But I've noticed when we have a piss before a swim, it's the same ones who pull back.

The first 4 photos had some great close up details. It's this last photo that got my attention. The turn on for me is when guys casually take a piss in a crowd. Sure, he has his back turned to everyone, yet it's the carefree "I'll just piss right here!" attitude that gets me fired up. I'm not one to be the first to do it, but will join in if someone else breaks the ice.

It also depends very much on the urethral opening. There are the usual people on here who dictate that "you must" pull back to piss, otherwise it sprays everywhere - in fact, it's equally possible to spray everywhere if you do pull back. It can also vary depending upon the state of arousal (which can change the dimensions of the urethral opening and, therefore, the performance). For some guys, the foreskin naturally slows and directs the flow and makes it more controllable.

I have to laugh at these..... I grew up in a rural area where the men and boys pissed often
outdoors...... my family had an outside john, but we men would not walk that far. I saw my dad often..... I remember walking barefoot in the snow to take my morning pee. Nothing so unusual, men have had to pee from the beginning of time.
