Yellow Cum

gigantikok: Lately I have started to pay closer attention to my semen, and I have realized it's pretty yellow. *It's got a strong yellowish tint, by no means close to some of the milky white semen you see in porn. *At first i thought "Pshaw, everyone's different, it shouldn't be an issue", but lately I've been second guessing myself. *What do you guys think? *Are there guys around here with yellowish cum? *I'm sure this type of question is asked quite often, but frankly, i don't care.

Ineligible: Mine is quite yellowish when seen against something white, like a tissue. I think that's the key - in porn the background is usually darker than the semen.

I think it has something to do with the amount of times you ejaculate on average. If you ejaculate often...i've noticed it to be pretty white. If you abstain for maybe a week, i've noticed it to become a bit more yellowish.

awellhungboi: I might be mistaken but I think the reason semen is white is because it contains albumen, y'know, the same as egg whites. But I also think it contains traces of urine, accounting for the yellowish tint you mention. My own cum can be clear, or white, or slightly yellowish, depending on what I've been eating, how often I've been having sex or masturbating, or even how I feel.

I'm sure Jonb, or some of our other posters, who are much more knowledgable about human biology would be able to offer a good explanation.

gigantikok: Good point, Monstro. I dunno about about it having to do with the amount of times you ejaculate, though, Javierdude. I ejaculate at least once every two days, and it is usually yellowish. Eh.

Anyone know of what to eat to make your semen whiter?

As long as it doesn't have blood in it, you should be ok.

I personally find that cum is yellower when I up the coffee intake. Could be coincidence but if I cut back on coffee cum whitens up !

Is that a cause for concern? It's happened before than It went away.

Semen is usually a bit yellowish and not white, as you might imagine. So maybe you don’t have any problems at all. If your semen is really yellow, than you should consider visiting a doctor. Your problem can be caused by urethritis, inflammation of male urethra. This can cause yellow color of your semen. But also you should consider a condition called prostatitis-inflammation of prostate, gland located below bladder. This is very common condition and it can be caused by some bacteria, or some kidney disease, so, seeing your urologist would probably be the best thing you should do.
