Attraction to tall men...

I've wondered if one of the reasons women tend to like tall men is that they assume that a tall man also has a larger penis. On the other hand, my personal experience is that most women really do not get excited over a large penis. Given the stereotype (fed by the porn industry and others) about black men, I also wonder if women who prefer black men assume that those men have larger penises. If so, then you can imagine the frustration of a non-black non-tall guy who is well endowed - but has no way of showing this off in a socially acceptable way. In any case, nobody would believe me without seeing it, but no woman ( who is looking for such a thing) would see it without believing me. So it's a catch 22.

There was a study done on what women think is attractive and what men think is attractive and the conclusion of the study was that men seem to agree on what is attractive but for straight women it's just random. According to this study women just have no idea what an attractive man looks like.

There are a few types of male attractiveness that I've seen women go after and one of the types neanderthal-like men make women weak in the knees. Being tall or having big muscles. Then there's the suave/feminine type with quick wits and are generally good lays. Of course there are varying degrees of these two types but it's all relative and in the end since women can't even seem to agree on which men are attractive according to the study I refered to earlier.. Guys have even less of a chance of really predicting what women will think is attractive.

I'd be willing to bet that a tall man will be deemed more attractive than shorter men. That's where my money's at.

Obviously for the previous poster's sake I'm not worried about looking like a slut as it is in my name. I think a tall man is simply more attractive than a short man because he is tall. This is mostly due to the fact that I myself am tall and feel awkward with men who are significantly shorter than myself. I am also attracted to black men but they are not the only race of men I am attracted to....they are simply just one of the many. Then again I don't make any assumptions about cock size based on a man's height, race, weight, etc.

I'm 6'-5" 240lbs. I've noticed now that I'm losing my hair I don't get as many random smiles from women as I used to. I still get some looks and smiles but not like when I was in my 20s, 30s and 40s. "glory days and the wink of a young girls eye" :-)

Women are not lying if they say the first thing they notice about a man is their eyes, smile, etc. For most women that is simply true. I know the first thing I look at are eyes. I'm not saying I never venture further south but it's definitely not the first thing I look for.

I'm 5'10" and I love tall guys but it has nothing to do with perceived dick size. I feel awkward if I'm towering over my date (especially when I wear my high heels). I'd rather have the attention for other reasons than my height. There is also a "hotness" to feeling protected by a big, tall man.

I couldn't date anyone shorter than me, it would just feel weird - like I was their mother or something. What the other women have said is correct, we feel safe and protected with a taller man. I'm sure this goes back to cavemen times.
