When I worked as a mortician, I handled funerals on two different occasions for people who died of autoerotic asphyxiation. Both cases were terrible for the families who had to not only deal with the death of their son/husband/uncle, but also with the humiliation of how the men died.

In both cases, the men were alone (one man was travelling on business), and obviously, the pleasure went awry. In one case, the man was not found until the day after he died. In the other case, the man was found with a belt around his neck, tied to the door handle, a porno magazine in one hand and his dick in his other. When we got him at the funeral home, he was already in rigor mortis and his hand was formed into a closed fist. We worked to try to get his hand to loosen up a little, but it was obvious which hand he was jacking with when he died.

Anyone who tries this is gambling with their life. It's stupid, it's unsafe, and is inviting a fatal orgasm. I don't think these people die happy, I think they probably die in a state of confusion and panic, and in some cases, probably terror as they can't get out of their nooses.

If you're going to do it, don't do it alone. Something can happen regardless of how "strong" you are or whether you're using wrope or a belt.

I sit in front of my computer, watch porn, and masturbate with my right hand. In my left hand, I hold a doubled-over belt. I put my neck in the loop of this doubled over belt, pull it tight, and apply additional pressure by squeezing the two pieces of belt in my left fist.

Were I to pass out, I would let go of the belt and regain the ability to breathe.

I only mention my strength because I don't think that most people could comfortably hold a strap tightly enough in one hand to get the strangling effect while still being able to concentrate on the task at hand. I presume that's why people resort to hanging themselves.
