Loss of sex drive

Well, I've never had a problem with my sex drive. I can seriously say I've got off at least once everyday since I was 13, missing on average, maybe once a month. I'm 24 now.

Now I thought it might be just a normal part of life. sex drive diminishing was bound to happen. I just don't feel the need to masturbate as much.

The problem is, this was sudden. it was night and day. I am a Muslim, and was fasting during the month of Ramadan. usually, not eating or drinking, i would be too exhausted to even glance at the most beautiful women. this year though, I wanted to have sex with everything that moved. I'd get random erections, something that hasn't happened to me in a while. my sex drive was higher than in my entire life. This kinda sucked because during the day while fasting, i can't get off until sun set.

but suddenly, with ramadan ending, and my eating habits going back to normal, my sex drive is completely diminished. I can't figure out why...it's never happened to me like this. anyone ever have a sudden loss of sex drive?

I thought it might've just been the stress on my body from fasting, but it's been almost a month now and there is no change in my sex drive.

I have. It could very well be from stress on your body due to fasting, but you think after a month of eating you'd be ok. It could be a number of things. Sometimes I just need to take a break from ejaculating for 3 days and my sex drive gets back to normal.

I know you say you masturbate almost everyday. Give it a 4 day break and see what that does for you.

i've actually gone about 2 weeks and only masturbated once. still feeling the same. I can't really figure out what I'm doing differently to have such a sudden drop.

i think it might be stress from school...but this semester isn't any harder than any other one. maybe it's that my classes are earlier and i'm not getting as much sleep? I don't know, that seems to be the only real difference in my life. slightly less sleep.

Certainly exhaustion can have something to do with it, as well as being weak from lack of proper nourishment (if that's the case here). But no, it's not normal for a man's sex drive to diminish at age 24...not at all. Possibly you're confusing temporary lack of horniness, or perhaps distraction by other demanding circumstances, for lack of drive. Most likely, given your active history, you're merely in temporary doldrums. Don't fret it--that can make it worse. Just think positive, sexxxy thoughts and see what happens. [All of this, of course, assuming that you haven't developed some sort of hormonal imbalance, such as, say, low testoserone. If your indifferent state lasts too long, especially if you feel less energetic than usual, perhaps you should consult your doctor for tests.] Best of luck to you, and a speedy return to normal...!

don't get me wrong, i still see a women an have the normal reactions. I just don't feel like masturbating or having sex. that's why i'm thinking it might by psychological, because i still think "Oooo look at dat ass" when a girl walks by, but at home looking at the hottest porn I'm like "This is great, but I'm not in the mood to jerk."
