| | Pea-sized Lump on Scrotum
Just a couple of days ago, I found a pea-size lump on my scrotum on the right side. It's the same color as my skin there and I only feel something if I squeeze it, but it doesn't hurt. It's not bothering me or anything right now. Does anyone know what it could be?

I'd agree with the others. Get it checked by your doctor to ensure it's nothing serious!!

It might be a genital wart but it might be a clogged pore of a sebaceous gland (most probably). If you go to the doctor he/she will get rid of it anyway. Good luck.

| | Yes, see a doc. I had a small-pimple, on my nutsack, and it was like a pimple. I drained it, and no problem. See a doctor, especially if it is, well, of a size that ain't a pimple/in-grown hair/etc. Nick: ASKING, About Anything, WHERE-EVER, WHY-cuz, , , I feel is Excellent! My philosophy is: find a lump, see a doctor.
If it turns out to be nothing, great! If it turns out to be something then you've caught it in early stage.

The pea sized growth is really not the problem. There are many causes for these on the skin of the scrotum. There is no situation period where this kind of thing should be ignored. Rarely do these turn out to be anything serious, but they can be markers for other things.
What I am saying is to get your scrotum with you attached to it to an MD as soon as is possible anyway. Anytime a malignancy is even possible you get to a doctor because early diagnosis and treatment is the key to health and survival.
One of the very worst forms of cancer is one called adenocarcinoma. This is a hormone dependent tumor. It is very unlkely that one would show up in this way, but it is not worth taking the chance. If it is simple it will be removed quickly and easily and you'll put it in your past. If not, odds are you've caught it very early and this is a very good thing.

If the lump is on the skin of the testicles, it is normal, If it is on the testicle itself, then it could be bad.

Like Hamadin said, if its just on the skin its probably no big deal.
It actually sounds like a sebaceous cyst to me. I had one on my scrotum like 2 years ago. I just went to the urologist and had it cut out. They just gave me a valium and It was done within like 5 mins, didn't hurt at all.
