I think photos of POV hardon is hot because it is easier to make comparisions with others who have taken their photos from the same view. Often guys take their photo showing their boners with an object or a ruler which makes it even hotter.

It's the most familiar view whenever I wank off. That is how I see my cock 98% of the time. I think POV give a good reference point to make comparison of all the different shapes and sizes of an erection.
