I think given the proper guidelines and checks/double checks, euthanasia should be allowed, and it's nice to see that I'm in good company with this opinion. Terry Pratchett himself has been diagnosed with an illness which clearly adds a personal touch to his opinion which I don't personally have...
Pratchett, author of the bestselling Discworld fantasy novels, was diagnosed two years ago with a rare form of early onset Alzheimer's disease – a discovery he memorably described, when he broke the news on the Discworld News website, as "an embuggerance".
So what do others here feel about it? I'm sure at least some here have known people who've done it, or those who've asked for help?
