How does an "offender" find out that a complaint has been sent to the moderators?
I've never been "notified" but I apologize if mine have caused complaints.
A year or so ago I stopped participating in the forums because it seemed to me that it was biased toward the women.
Many of them would post vile, idiotic, ignorant comments about men and the moderators were silent.
However, the first time a man even dipped his toes in the toxic pool and responded the moderators would swoop down en masse to cry fowl. Other people were posting similar observations.
I aslo don't understand why a forum about large penises has a "women's issues section" at all. I suppose the topics could be limited to how a large penis is causing them some grief, for which they need support. Very few of the topics in that section deal with such needs.
If there are women who want a guy with a large penis for sex I can understand that being on this website. Beyond that, I just don't understand. We guys who want a partner with a large penis would have a forum for that, too.
I think the politics forum accurately reflects the deep divisions that are in our country as a whole.
Each "side" has talk radio personalities that are getting obscenely rich (how much is obscene?) by toying with and inflaming their listeners.
To expect to have a politics forum where everyone is "nice" is absurd.

Some others have mentioned eliminating the politics forum completely. I agree wholeheartedly. How politics is relevant to supporting those with large penises has always perplexed me.
I've never seen or heard anything about political action directed at guys with large penises. (There was a joke that was being passed around back in the days when Xerox machines became common in offices and the joke said that the IRS was going to start a new tax on penises. The bigger it was the more you pay, blah, blah, blah.)
Again, why even have the politics forum at all?

I've frequently read postings in the other forms that I think are insulting, rude and hateful. The moderators seem to ignore those.

I also can't figure out how a website dedicated to what most people would consider immoral has moderators who try to impose and enforce "proper" behaviour.
It is similar to a Texas law that allows men to be arrested at a strip joint for getting an erection.
This same law allows the cops to arrest two people dancing together if it leads to the man having a visible erection. Inside his pants, not at all on public display!

Because there are enough members of the site who are interested in political discussion and enough of such taking place to warrant its existence. Pretty fucking elementary.

What perplexes me are the people who aren't interested in it but feel as though their opinion on even having the forum might somehow be relevant. Personally, I can't decide if jokes and games or PE is the more insipid waste of time, but you don't see me reading or posting over there...and you damn sure don't see me campaigning to have those areas shut down. If political discourse doesn't interest you, then we politely entreat you to stay away and keep your opinions on the management of this forum to yourself.

I'm preemptively calling bullshit on this. If you can cite the article and section of the Texas Penal Code to which you're referring, and can then provide at least one example of such statue ever being used to prosecute someone in the manner you've alleged, then I'll retract. For those who thought I was serious, please know I wasn't. I don't need anyone to shield me from ugly comments made by others.
If I was really hurt or upset I have the right and ability to no longer participate in the forums.
I am a member because I enjoy looking at huge dicks. The forums are simply a form of entertainment. Yes, I agree, I need to "get a life".

I fully endorse nwnccpl's view on this. Since he was one of the first people to react to Aconitum's post, there is no point in repeating here his arguments for concentrating on penile matters, which should, after all, be the main area of interest in this site, in my view.
Of course, if anybody feels politics affects life with a penis in an essential way, then they should be encouraged to start new websites with that emphasis.

This is a community of people who use sex as a focus for discussing a wide range of subjects, and I've never seen so many folks speak so frankly or openly about themselves and the place sexuality has in their lives. But, as often as not, the discussion spins off of sex into emotions and sensations that transcend the sex itself, provided they are interesting at all.

I know that I'm maybe more jaded than many around here, but the "wank fodder" is the least likely element to keep me coming back every day: it's the community at large, the many distinct and singular voices and, more than anything else, the relationships I've developed.

We need more moderators who are interested in politics and who use the Politics forum. Lately, it might as well be called the Sarlacc Forum because that's where people go to disappear forever as the unmoderated fighting escalates until something bannable occurs... again... and again.

Whether it was a temporary closure of a thread or a temporary ban of a member, the moderators would used to step in to allow people to cool off and avoid permanent bans or permanent thread closures.
