I have been vegan for mores than half my life and I grew up in a very macho, backwards family. They are still as anti gay and vegetarian as ever, if not more so. I find it just bizarre and nonsensical that being vegan could ever be unappealing. Mr. Phoenix is a very appealing actor and the vegan thing is a big plus with me, of course.

This guy pretty much ruined his career with that Casey Afflek movie he did. At least for the time being.

I think he was born with a cleft palate. Thus the scar. Doesn't bother me in the least whatever the cause. He's a beautiful man.
