shave your cock and ass at home please, and if there were young kids in there you should be ashamed and banned from the facility.

really, be a grown man and have some sense of responsibility.

I think he meant it was already shaved, not that he was shaving in front of them.

maybe the guy just hadn't seen a guy who shaved before.. its their problem not yours.. as long as you were just showering doing nothing inappropriate in the shower then you have nothing to worry about.

were the others naked? or were they showering in swimwear or other attire? If you were the only naked one then that could have been why they seemed to be giving you looks

I agree shaving in a public location would definitely be inappropriate, especially if there were younger guys around.

I think he was referring to shaving at home prior to going to the gym.

I've gotten looks when I'm in the US. I really don't give a shit what anyone thinks. It's what I prefer for myself. If it's what you like, go for it. Don't worry about them.

And I hope those guys don't ever come to Prague. I'd say that well over 50% of the guys in the showers here will be shaved totally smooth or very trimmed. And almost all the guys here shave their pits. So it's not unusual to see it and no one gives a "look".

Here in southern California, the shaved pubes trend seems to have dininished over the last year quite dramatically. At my gym, I bet 40-50% of the guys under 30 were either shaved smooth or nearly smooth a year ago. Now, I'd estimate its one in 10.

This weekend I was in Phoenix, and my observations were that 40-50% of young guys were shaved or closely trimmed. Sometimes social trends start on the coast and move across the country.

As for getting stares or dirty looks, I personally never received any nor do I recall anyone giving or getting any for shaving-trimming.

It's possible if they are trying to get their kids use to the locker room and seeing naked guys as a normal thing that when they saw you shaved it may raise questions that they might not want to answer at this time.

nudity to kids is like ice cream. only adults make some nasty out of something natural [nudity] and put that into their kids minds. if a parent makes no big deal out of things then kids don't even pay attention.

I've had several comments on being smooth in showers, ''like you do alot of shaving'', never negative comments. Anyway showering for pools should be done in the nude, once they've rinsed out their suits and he was the one who was staring at you.

I visit nudist clubs and many have this no piercings below the belt thing. kids might ask why he/she has a ring on his/her thing and then all they want to do is play and eat ice cream and all is forgotten. Adults make a big thing out of nothing and think they can judge...Only one can judge and that is not us.

Kids also when they start noticing things wonder why daddy has hair down there. If we shave our faces then we can shave elsewhere. Feel free to be smooth!!!

One of the guys at the pool is shaved, he looks good smooth as he sports a lot of ink. I changed into my Speedo and he was looking and noticed that I have a PA. That brought up an interesting conversation.

Being a nudist, it's hard to tell if they are looking at my absence of tan lines or my very closely trimmed pubes. Either way, doesn't bother me a bit.

I dont know...im all for trimming or shaving some parts of the bod..but I think a totally shaved area looks a little odd and for me at least a total turnoff...As far as the lockerrom...generally if its not the norm people will stare/look. No different than someone looking or a little shocked when a dude with a ton of tats is there...

First of all there is too much going on here; ok you shaved and then while in the shower at the gym kids were checking you out? Or their dads were???

As for being clean-shaven; I have been for my entire adult life. From swimming to the marines and to present I initially did so as not to cause painful hair pulling in either swim suit or bike pants but it has also added to my sexual experiences greatly.

Think about it no unwanted hair (as in the mouth etc.)…

As to what other people think – Who the FUCK cares??? If they are looking at you it is them with the issues then right?

Hey leave kids out of this. It makes me sick to hear someone talk about being a naturalist in the context of children.

1. Children are innocent, they do not have the hangups, for or against most things, which is to say they definitely do not have your hang up with being a naturalist, and yes it is a hangup when it involves other people in public places. Keep your naturalism to your home.

2. Whether or how much of your body you want to groom is your business, but it needs to be done at home.

3. While I blame the parents for exposing their children in this instance, you should have had the good sense to cover up when they were there, if you don't understand this, review point 1.

At the gym I go to youngsters, even with a parent under the age of 16 are not allowed in the adult locker room. Even though this gym has individual shower stalls with curtains I would be uncomfortable with someone bringing their kids into this area.

Maybe its the Marine in me, but the showers are just that, for showering, if your there more than 2 minutes you gotta too much time on your hands or your a freak.
