Hehe, well if we're allowed to linger in the 1920s a while longer, then I will give honorable mention to Ramon Novarro as one of the screen's all-time sexiest men. He deserved a hell of a lot better than the terrible homophobic death he got, ... but there's no doubt he lived life to the full in his heyday.
