So, Grindr for Android, is it worth the bother?

Just became a proud owner of a Sony Xperia Arc, my first smartphone, and I'm completely in love with it.


Being a busy boy atm (as my absence around here recently might suggest) I'm wondering if I should download Grindr for Android or not?

There are some other similar services offered for the platform are they any good or is the original and best the ... er... best?

curious is you could specify ya manmap. kinks, appearance and what not.

I know you can specify age parameters (typically), and obviously it tells you who's nearest to you, I don't think you can specify much else. It would be cool if you could, I have a feeling that I'd never find anyone near me who shares my kinks though

Never used it, so can't really say much about it.
But I would assume since a4a is so well known, then radar probably has more users than the app ur talking about.

Grindr is pretty much the best phone app in it's category. Lots of people use it and you can normally find someone in your area who you like the look of. The volume of users is a plus for many people but this also means that there are plenty of time wasters and fakers out there. You will also find a lot of the same people after you've been using it for a while. They offer a paid premium service called Grindr Xtra which has a few more enhanced features but really isn't worth paying for.

If you're looking for an app you can use to chat/hook up/browse for guys then you can't really beat Grindr. I didn't know the android version was available, I may be a nosey bitch and have a look around again.

I use the Grindr app for Android and it works fairly well. My only issue is that it sometimes think I am in Mexico but I live in Canada. I find that works much better on the ipad for sure. It does get a bit repetitious with the same guys on it all the time.

Check out scruff as well. Not as many guys but they seem to be a bit more down to earth. Not a bunch of posers.

Eh, I tried Grindr for Android awhile back, and there were just too many bugs....I havent tried it in a couple of months, so who knows....

I think if I was traveling outside of Miami, I would use it for a hookup.

I've tried it in Miami and Fort Lauderdale and the results were disappointing to say the least. First, you have to get through the bitchy people, then the people who aren't actually looking and finally you get to the guys who actually want a hookup. Then you've got a 50/50 chance of him actually being the person in his photo.

Yeah, I'm not giving Grindr another shot unless I'm in the middle of bumfuck and I'm desperate for a bottom.
