Origin of the word Pussy

The word "pussy" is probably the most used name for female genitalia it seems, but where did that originate from? Pussy cats don't like being wet, my pussy does Pussy cats are all hairy, mines

is part of a discussion in the Et Cetera, Et Cetera forum that includes topics on Off-topic postings, current events, rants and raves....

Online Etymology Dictionary

If you look at the link you'll see the word comes up ion the 1800s, back when women didn't used to shave their pussies, so the coin probably termed from it being like a cat, which is from French slang for it. According to the site and speculation.
Those are my best ideas.

Lol, it is an interesting topic. I've never thought saying it was very sexy. I dont really like to use it when talking dirty.

FF, do you think its a sexy word to use?

Just like the meaning of the word "Cunt", which is derived from German I believe

Quite a detailed background of this word here, usage over time, feminist point of view, and so on.

People seem to like getting ideas from animals - cocks, pussies, etc.
