Writers: Would/could you sell your work?

I would. But whether or not I could depends on whether anyone would actually buy my work.

I have sold a great deal of work that is legitimate stuff. I have written porn, but, there is so much theft of porn writing out there that it is not in my eyes profitable. I would not even bother with it.

Anything to do with sex is very difficult to deal with. The late Gary Griffin who authored a great deal of stuff with value on the male penis had entire books stolen and published by others after they had "re-edited" these books to endorse products that they marketed.

Gary and I were good friends and after his death a legitimate publisher contacted me to do a re-edit and update. This was 1996 and bogus copies of his work are still available all over the internet with the legitimate heirs to his estate receiving nothing.

On legit writing yes and I already have, with regards to anything in the realm of porn no and I personally would not bother because prosecuting theft is so difficult and expensive.

This seems such a fun way to make money. I can't imagine I'd get much work done typing with one hand however. (Just kidding).
Seriously though, if writers do have tips for would-be authours of erotic fiction would they point us in the right direction?
FuzzyKen does have a valid issu about copyright difficulties (let's face it, how many pirated copies of videos/DVDs has the Porn Industry lost out on over the years?)
Ramsgate seems to have found a good way of getting published so perhaps some extra info would help budding young authours.

I'm definitely going to explore Jottify; but yeah finding a market is the hardest thing... especially for erotica.

I've been told by many that I should get my short stories published (erotic and otherwise) but it doesnt seem to be a profitable or resonable venture to take...so to answer the original question: would I? most likely. Could I? doubtful.
