I think having it so accessible is not a good idea...people will misuse it or it will encourage less safer sex. It really fucks with your body/hormones for about 72hrs I've heard?
And how will they be sure that ppl accessing it are over 18? ppl could easily stock up on a few and give them to underage girls too. |
That blows if you need a prescription to get the morning-after pill.
I had a scare once when a condom broke. I just thought I was having the best sex of our relationship with a long-term GF, pull out after I cum and am greeted by a rubber ring half way down my shaft.
Numerous web searches, a chat with an experienced friend, three hours and $25 later and we had the morning-after pill in hand.
How did she handle it? She was fine, actually. No major impact on her and no pregnancy.
Does that mean the next time we just said "fuck it" to condoms and went to get another morning after pill? Hell no. First off--$25 a pop. Secondly, who wants to take "the abortion pill" as a regular contraceptive?
What stuns me is people act like this is a big deal, but just shrug at the thought of teens buying viagra and going on fuck-fests with each other. It happens, and that's not even over-the-counter. Shit, if plan B were such a great thing to be taking all the time, don't you think kids would be taking it whether it's legal or not?
