| Prop 8 ruled unconstitutional!
Calif. same-sex marriage ban ruled unconstitutional - The Washington Post
Would be awesome if the mormons prop 8 backfired, and ended up turning into a constitutional amendment granting equal treatment for same sex marrige!

Yea! "has no effect other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians “, according to Stephen Reinhardt, author of the majority opinion. The panel of three judges from the Ninth Circuit Court also found no bias on the part of Judge Vaughan Walker, who ruled in August 2010 that Proposition 8 was unconstitutional.
Proponents of the bill will probably appeal, but this is an important milestone.

Freud - to constrain sexual drives to socially accepted "norms" is something that we "learn." Why is it so important to you whether someone calls themselves straight or not  (unless they choose to berate gays) I Love him 100%, and his 50% belongs to me  It takes more love to share my saddle than it does to share my bed

Two courts have now ruled it unconstitutional. In my mind I consider this decision correct equal under the law. They will try and take it to the SCOTUS whether they will take the case or let the lower court ruling stand is the next step. The Catholic church, NOM, is every bit as guilty as the Mormons they just hid their money better. Kind of makes you wonder if Churches have 10's of millions of dollars to throw at this kind of thing why can't they be taxed?
