| | it's funny/weird, but still sorta a relationship issue... http://img.chan4chan.com/img/2009-12-29/24329.gif
could you have a relationship with someone with a freakishly weird fetish? i mean... seeing that would turn me off a person for good.
i've like it when guys tell me their darkest fantasies. some guys have confessed to liking the idea of women with animals which, if i'm totally honest, killed quite a lot of my desire for the man.
i guess the most common is wanting to share their girl with another guy. i'm not sure what the draw is, because a lot of people are shite at putting their lusts into words, but for me it just seems a bit demeaning. like... you see me as a collection of holes and you want to play fill-'er-up with a buddy??? but i get that they don't see it this way and i've heard it so often i don't think anything of it these days.
it's always a risk when you share a fetish. and not just because someone might turn it into a gif!
no direct question here. just talk around it, people.

When I saw the title, I thought to myself yeah why not I don't have to be a part of it but when I read the examples you made I changed my mind.
No, some fetishes just aren't cool.

I'm largely happy with mainstream stuff. I can't really think of anything that might come under the 'freakishly weird' category that wouldn't make me get the fuck out of there.

I like to think I'm pretty open when it comes to many fetishes/fantasies but if it deals with anything like that gif or children, then that's an immediate dealbreaker. Some fantasies and fetishes are just not okay.

If a stuffed raccoon has a fetish for ugly fat guys, who am I to judge? :-)

I think it's case by case. Everyone has different lines, and because of that I think it tends to be a very touchy issue. I've had partners in the past that were pretty open and kinky themselves, and so it was easy to be open with them; but others, it's definitely been a topic that was mostly off the table or took a lot of time and was talked about gradually. I think it gets down too how accepting the person is in general of the idea that everyone has rough edges and an inherent weirdness, despite appearances. Some people are too judgmental or just haven't lived enough to realize that; I was with one young woman who freaked out that I looked at porn online and would still masturbate occasionally while we were together, which seemed totally normal to me but was a big deal to her. I've been at the other end of it too, like having someone who liked to call me "daddy" while we were having sex; doesn't seem like much, but that was still something that nagged at me a bit. That said, it wasn't a dealbreaker because that wasn't one of my lines, and hey I like to look at some crazy anime porn sometimes so who am I to judge. But bottom line, it's a risk, and there's no easy answer or litmus test. The girl who was upset about my masturbating was also really into BDSM, so you never know. Another girl who was totally sheltered and who I literally had to explain what an orgasm and what masturbation was eventually was super into recording ourselves having sex and then watching it later while I fucked her, and she was an over-achieving asian science nerd in student government. So yeah, people are weird and confusing.

Yes, some fetishes are a step too far. The gif is a good example & has left me feeling uneasy, almost violated. The pinnacle of creepiness is the way he caresses & kisses it. The poor creature clearly feels nothing for him.

it's childish and shallow and pathetic.
it's picking on the kid with acne in the playgrouind.
posts like that make you guys uglier than any face or weight ever could.
people choose their actions but they can't help their face.

Monel needed 2 adjectives, the second with two syllables, to make the metre of the sentence work. If the guy had been obviously hairy, that would have worked just as well & would have avoided your assumption about the significance of the comment by reducing it to two perfectly legitimate, non-subjective observations.
Apart from that, as the old adage says... beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is it not?

picking on looks is no different, in my eyes, to picking on race. he can no more help having his face than a black guy can help having dark skin.
and to the people here who struggle with their weight? who may suffer depression and self loathing because of the way society judges them on it?
if you think that's cool for the sake of keeping the sentence pretty then i pity you.
the guy has a weird fetish. he put it online for the world to see. i think there's enough to boggle the mind there without starting with the body nazi jibes.

Further, to the extent that it did, I regret any derailment of your thread that my comment may have caused.

Picking on looks is different than picking on race. You can't control the colour of your skin, but you can control eating Mcdonalds 3 times a week
