Anti Gay Activists = Gay People Denying Who They Are?

I have this theory about people who are strongly and openly anti-homosexual.

I'm not talking about your average straight person who may make a few gay jokes and feels a little uncomfortable around openly gay people. Everyone knows someone like that and they are often are truly attracted to the opposite sex

I'm talking about people who make it their life's mission to bash homosexuals and restrict their rights.

I'm almost positive that most or all of these people are actually themselves gay. It's not a theory that can be proven. These people have built very good covers with years of practice.

I'm waiting for Marcus Bachman to be added to that list. I don't know what the answer is but I definitely understand the premise and have wondered the same thing.

Bachmann would be at the top of that list if he ever has to come out!

I have to ask, how do they choose the cops for these jobs? I mean are they, themselves gay, do they have to trade off who does what, or does that particular officer get a "You've got a nice ass, put it in some spandex and hit the gay cruise spots" way of forced volunteering?

I just don't see how someone who is straight can really invest a lot of energy towards hating, bashing, and restricting gays. You are straight, you are comfortable being straight, and yet you 100% care about homosexuals and their lives.

I say this as a gay man myself, perhaps a straight person can tell me what they think about this.

I wouldn't say all of them are hypocritical closet cases. Some just hate or are disgusted by gays, for whatever odd reason.

That being said, I fail to see a reason why anyone, straight/gay/etc, would care so much about the personal lives of strangers. Not to mention trying to force and/or control these strangers into living a certain way.

To me, that's just a massive waste of time and energy.

I don't think its true for all. I think people believe in things so passionately that it becomes impossible to see things in any other way. Sure, a certain number may have pent up sexual frustrations but i'd venture a guess at it mostly being what they believe in or the values they've grown up with.

You may have something there Philly. Akin to the Jeebus preacher who spends every Sunday screaming about whores and sins of the flesh and then gets caught with a hooker.

I think you are correct. It's an ugly side of humanity IMO where the majority bond their "togetherness" by persecuting a minority.

The Roman Catholic Church told their congregations throughout the UK to actively oppose gay marriage on Sunday. Shame they have never taken the same action with regard to pedophiles .
