In the US, cops might have an easier time getting hold of certain NFA items (suppressors, short barrel rifles, machine guns, etc.) but besides that, there is no real difference between cop and civilian when it comes to purchasing most guns, that I'm aware of. However, I'm not a cop, so I might be wrong.

Certain people think that a "regular joe" either can't, or shouldn't own some of the guns I have. So, they assume I must be in Law Enforcement, or something else.

As far as the cars go, while they are not cheap, they're not "that" expensive to buy or maintain.

And above all else, material possessions are a poor way to judge someone's wealth, in my opinion. I know plenty of people in my area that own Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Rolex watches and other sorts of expensive madness that are either living with their parents not paying rent, that are given these items, or are struggling to keep them.

Although, I should consider that "rich" is a pretty relative term. I just don't see myself as that.

And one other sad assumption that I sometimes get on here, is that just because I'm heterosexual, I'm "homophobic".

Well to the original Question.

For me I am 6foot tall, dark brown hair(getting longer each day), beard and mustache, husky/chubby, got some muscles, carries the weight very well and intimidating looking.

So most people think I am just mean in general and any other bad stereo types that go along with my appearance. And this is to most of the norms out there. When in actuality I am nothing but a gentle giant with a heart of gold.

Now when I go to places to play with other men. Mostly everyone thinks I am a big bear top. When I am really just a some what shy little girl in a big mans body. It gets frustrating at times when I am trying to find a nice top to play with.

mean/angry/a snob because I am reserved, quiet, mannerly, and anxiety keeps me "aloof" until people get to know me.

It's easy when you continue talking to these people. Eventually some of them say "I thought you were so and so.". More often a negative comment than positive, when they bring it up. Essentially, you don't live up to what they expect of you and they have the balls to tell you. Sometimes you exceed what they expect but that's less often admitted and is more often taken as a back-handed compliment anyway.

Then there are those that will say "You seem like the kind of guy that..." in various situations.

Then there are people that will insist you are such an such way without basis other than looks and maybe one or two short interactions. "He's totally blahblahblah!!!"

Another situation - you are talking about something you're into and someone comments or interjects with a "What?!" or "Really, you blah blahblah?" or "I would never have thought you blabhlah!" It's really easy to read into what people assume about you after a while.
