Many decades ago former Governor George Romney (Mitt's Daddy) was the CEO of American Motors. Starting about 1955 George used roughly the same tactics of Oral Roberts claiming that they were going to go bankrupt (as Oral did with the university) any day if their dealer network did not sell more product. By doing things this way, George was able to successfully not only beat a dead race horse and keep it running, he was able to secure enough money to buy "Jeep" from the then ailing Kaiser Corporation. He took a dead horse, and then had the first dead horse carry a second dead horse until they reincarnated the whole mess and then sold it all off to Chrysler, which made him look great but the horses were still dead when they got to the finish line. The only reason Chrysler purchased AMC was to get Jeep. Based on what George was able to do, I suspect that Mitt would take lessons from the experiences of his late Father. Newt on the other hand simply is still sitting in the saddle of his dead horse, is applying the whip harder and harder and not only has not figured out that his horse is dead, he insists on blocking the race track so that the other Republican Horse might trip allowing the Democratic Horses to win the race. Yep, that is good old Newt alright. Thinks of himself and nobody else.
