you know how someone is just ok, just kinda pleasant looking, not a person who would make you double take in the street... and then they do something. and as soon as they're doing this something they become seriously sexy.
what got me thinking about it was this guy. Jaz Ellington FULL Blind Audition-The A Team - YouTube
his something is singing.
you get that ever?

Happened to me on Saturday! I was having a casual chat with someone that I normally don't feel any particular interest in until he let out a laugh. I honestly hadn't heard him ever laugh, and it spontaneously made for some "you're attractive and I want to be around you for more of that" type of thinking.

some people just open up when they laugh, like a flower blooming. it's a little glimpse of something beautiful inside.

She could be talking on the phone and when I hear her laugh, it's just so genuine, so... hmm, I'm looking for the word here... committed (?) that I can't help but smile from my office when I hear it. And, I get a bit turned on too. | |

A female colleague of mine many years ago had a beautiful voice. It was always soft and soothing. I used to think it would be nice to listen to her read... a novel, a poem a telephone book. Her voice was sexy in a very unintentional way.

Oddly, yes. We have an RN who is about 28 interested in the midwife program, amd she spends time with us sometimes at the office just soaking up knowledge. She is cute, but since I've known her she's had really long hair, just somewhat tied back and kind of mousy brown/blond like mine. (which is why I have mine lightened) recently she took a leap and cut that hair she's had since a kid, had some highlites and added a little lipstick.
She is adorable. The hair just does so much for her.
I tend to get the giggles and sometimes to the point of having to look away.
Then when I really try to stop I do sound like a baloon letting out air. We were joking around and a local pharmacist my husband knows walked in. We both tried to compose
ourself but she was the one who just giggles out loud.
This guy who was about her age hangs over the counter and I could see him lock onto her.
It was hard for anyone near not to laugh. But he didn't say much. So she walked away with some paperwork and he glares at me and said " she is cute"!
Yes, she is is. He paused and asked more about her and then asked for her number.
I won't do that, that's up to her. But I did give her first name to him and tell him when she would be there.
My husband saw him later and she must have made an impression because he told my hubby all about her .
So I suppose time will tell.

Happens all the time. Perhaps I'm attracted to strange things, but things like particular haircuts, a certain attitude, an accent--there's a million and one things probably, but they're rather specific in their own way.
One is this girl I dated for a short time. She was pretty regardless, but had a kind of scowl always on her face and a tough exterior. She was a very light skinned black woman and seemed to be overcompensating a lot to make up for it--went from an afro to a shaved head, whipping out near ebonics all the time, dressing with baggy overalls and chains. Bad attitude to boot unfortunately.
But her thing was dancing--she was actually a professional dancer and was incredible. She'd put on tights and damn, she had one of the finest bodies you've ever seen. So toned and tight, and her face would change and everything. She turned into an angel and it seemed more like she was really only able to be herself when she was dancing, which is maybe why she became so attractive while she did it.
Anyway, I saw her dance and became obsessed with her and eventually got to date her for a short time. When she was on her own with me, some of that dancing angel persona would come out. It was amazing. But unfortunately, out and about or around her friends, she'd put on this crappy tough girl act that was a huge turn off.
Anyway, it led to me dating a few different dancers. It didn't hurt that she was ridiculously good in the sack either. Maybe that colors the whole thing rosy for me.
| I don't think that means what you think it means. |

Definitely. It happens all the time.
The last time it happened I was in a big box store and I asked a sales clerk where I could find something. He was only a few inches taller than me with a slight build and a full beard. He reminded me of Morgan Grimes on the TV show Chuck. When he opened his mouth a melodic deep voice came out of it, like Barry White. It was surprisingly sexy. My mouth actually dropped open and I did the really obvious slow head turn.

Yes, definitely happens a lot with me. Latest was at a hardware store looking for flooring. I explained what I wanted, and he just smiled at me and closed his eyes for a second. I got weirded out at first but when he started talking I just blurted out "What part of Texas are you from?" He said Georgetown, which is only a few miles from where I was raised!
He said when he heard my accent he got all homesick inside. When I heard him I felt the same.
Damn, he was so sexy! And I rarely feel that when I'm working because I'm around brawn all the time. But he was different. His wife is lucky!
