Where do you buy your veggies?

When you need vegetables which aren't or can't be grown in your garden where do you buy most of your vegetables?

Farmer's market?
Local grocer?
Big food chain?
A truck which comes around and sells?

Where exactly do you get them?

Big food chain sorry to say. Publixs probably has some of the best produce in my area. Although in the spring there is a local strawberry farm. I will just say OH MY when it comes to fresh strawberries.

You never know where you will find friends. Just keep looking and looking.

In my back yard I have a meyer lemon tree, avacados, lilikoi and pineapple... in Hawaii I buy most of my produce at Welcome to Oahu's Premiere Farmers' Markets!
In NY I buy off season produce at Costco but during the spring and summer I go to the Union Square Farmers Market | Union Square Main Streets

The Friday market happens just 200 metres up the street from my house. I mostly get all the vegetables for the week plus fresh fish and dried foods.

Upscale supermarket (usually The Fresh Market) or sometimes a weekend farmer's market.

I have a good friend of 25 years who lives nearby who refuses to eat any vegetables, ever. Nothing green, orange, red, purple, white, etc. He'll occasionally have a piece of fruit -- he works for a wholesale produce company -- but the rest of his diet is strictly meat and bread. In a restaurant he'll insist that any vegetables be removed from a dish.

either the local farmer's market every saturday or from my local grocer..

Just an FYI for the guys here:
1. I DON'T GO ON CAM.. but I use my mic sometimes.. If you hound me enough, you'll be blocked!
2. If I want to view cams, I'll seek YOU out - don't get pissy if I decline viewing.. I don't feel the need to see every cock..

I either grow my own or buy from a farmer's market or a small local family run green grocers.
I try to avoid buying from supermarkets as much as possible.

In the winter - supermarket & Costco. In the summer - everywhere: farmer's markets, friends' gardens, u-picks, roadside stands.

I only eat synthetic vat-grown vegetables from my secret laboratory.

AVOCADOS IN YOUR BACK YARD????? That is beyond awesome - they're byfar my favorite. I buy my veggies at a major chain; sad thing is, I drive past a produce-only store on my way to that supermarket. I keep telling myself I need to stop in sometime to sample their product, but, alas, that hasn't happened yet...
