why is it that I dislike/hate women.

Most likely. If you can look objectively at the situation and realize that all women are not like your mother, and many are awesome. You only have to learn to treat them well to get the kind of response you need in return.

Seriously OP, therapy would be best - else your relationships with women will be fraught with discontent, misery and unhappiness. Playing for the other team would be easier if you think you can't work out some of your issues. This may seem trite - but forgiving (not forgetting or excusing) our parents is more about setting ourselves free of a painful childhood than absolving anyone of their responsibility towards us as children.
