I'm not interested in getting PM's from complete strangers, nor do I wish any solicitations about cock size, getting together. etc. So trust me when I tell you that you will be deleted from my message banks and put on ignore.

Yes it was a great movie. I have to say. I thought the comedy moments were great.
Glad that shook it up with a different Hulk. I see stan still cropping up in there. Superheros in the world were.

What? too vast? man that's the whole thing about comics(especially Marvel and DC)that makes them great.it's the history and the growth from the great storytelling of those past and present creators.
i think the problem with comics today is that they cater too much to casual fan,or the "cool people" and in doing so they erase alot of the history and vastness of the characters and events(constant reboots of comic series, and horrible pretty boy Smallville like stuff on tv) instead of just pushing ahead and getting better talent to produce the books,so everything is nice and smooth for the casual fan.
i've been in over my head since 1977 with comics, and it was a great journey gettin' caught up all about my favorite heroes and villans, from going to flea markets,7-11's,trading with friends on the school yard at recess, and then the almighty comic shop.i've made alot of friends through those spots along the way.
but on a flipside, with the internet no comic universe is really too vast.everything one would want to know or read is right there.
and that being said the Avengers was well worth the wait, but i hope they don't dumb down Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet for fear that it might be too much for the casual fan.

I just saw the movie last night and was going to post pretty much what NC BBC had to say about it (though I wasn't going to mention that character at the end - besides, I didn't recognize him. He apparently appeared in the era just after I stopped following the genre - in pulp form at least).
Your experience with the movie (which now holds the all time box opening record at $200 million and counting) will be further enhanced if you've seen each hero's individual movies, because the story line (and continuity) all nicely ties in. But seeing the others is not mandatory to fully enjoy this epic.
Alert: Another spoiler...maybe...
I was initially a little disappointed to see Mark Ruffalo as Banner, instead of Edward Norton. But that was soon forgotten as Ruffalo's portrayal of Banner, a character who seems soft spoken yet (like a few of us) always simmers, just beneath the surface, was so masterfully crafted... well you'll see.
I can't say enough about this movie. You gotta go see it. Come to think of it, so do I... again.

As a DC comics fan who really never liked the Marvel Universe, I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was a little slow getting into it but once the scene was set, it was a lot of fun. And that really is the one, necessary ingredient in a superhero movie.

I'm dead serious...I could go to wikipedia and start reading about The Hulk...and the INFINITE number of links and crossovers to read about makes my head hurt. The only other thing like that is religion lol. But it's DEFINITELY a fun read!!! Quote:

Because that's a looooooooooooooooog story to tell. Telling these stories was easier in weekly cartoons and comic releases, but with major motion pictures they try to squeeze a VAST universe into small 2 hour segments that get spaced out over 4 or 5 years lol.

I really like Edward Norton a lot. I would have been happy if he had reprised his role as Banner, but Mark Ruffalo was great.
