What a man's car says about him...

A real man's engine is below the belt. Why would I need a special car or truck, or even money when I'm packing real man-meat heat? Nothing is more manly than that, right?

is part of a discussion in the Women's Issues forum that includes topics on A special place for women (men are welcome to participate too).

Mine says that I have to load and unload Hay (as evidenced by the oats that are sprouting in the corners of the bed), and that I'll be hauling horse trailers frequently. But most of all it says that if you work at the local gas station, you're gonna get to know me very well

Freud - to constrain sexual drives to socially accepted "norms" is something that we "learn."
Why is it so important to you whether someone calls themselves straight or not (unless they choose to berate gays)
I Love him 100%, and his 50% belongs to me
It takes more love to share my saddle than it does to share my bed

My husbands always has black cars. He doesn't care for it, the mechanic does. He'll admit he doesn't know a lot about vehicles. ( I think he doesnt want to get his hands dirty)
He does keep it clean.
He doesnt keep them long, he likes the new gadgets probably more than the car.

I like color. Or even white might be ok. But black, always black.

My last three have been SUV's and I'm looking at getting a Chrysler 300 with a Hemi V8. I'm ready to make that transition but the comments I get from people are: really that's not you, I can't see you in that, That's gay, Oh you going to put spinners on it. Oh well don't care if that's what I want they can deal with it. Oh, and don't ask for a damn ride either. haha

You never know where you will find friends. Just keep looking and looking.

If you think life sucks now. Hang around you have a 50/50 chance it could get worse.

Careful what you say it could be used against you.

300c would definitely be seen as a bloke's car in the UK - it might say businessman or accountant tho. :P

SUVs on the other hand - unless they're a Land Rover Defender or Discovery, invariably say Chelsea Tractor (posh Mums taking their kids to school, in an unnecessarily 4 wheel-driven vehicle).

I drive a lot and the ride is quite nice. But with the Hemi I still have some get up and go.

I'm a flamboyant effeminate homosexual with a red '06 Jeep Wrangler....
Total car of my dreams too!..... Figure that out!

If I die tomorrow, I invite the world to attend my funeral. But God help the souls who wear black to my funeral! I am not black on black on black. I am violet on crimson on lime. With that said, I am not cotton on jersey on denim. I am fur on silk on leather! My funeral shall be bright, my funeral shall be colourful. Wear what you must, but do not wear black. Let my example be your new tradition.

I'm too pretty to be narcissistic.

They are cool, but I'd prefer one of these. Or.. and original Willys Jeep. :)

I think a man's watch says more about him than his car, but then again I'm business-minded and true business men always need a good watch.

I also think men can spot fake confidence in other men, including if it was on the vehicle they drive.

For some reason, it's been my experience that women have a hard time differentiating between confidence and cockiness. They usually mistake the two for each other. Kind of ties into the "cars" thing.

PSA: Extremely very few guys in the world are actually 9 inches long or longer. Therefore, if you claim that you or someone you know is that long or longer with no proof, it makes you look stupid.

Countryguy63 is my 50%, but I love him with 100% of my heart!

We are not born straight or gay. We are born bisexual. We just embrace either one side or both sides of our sexuality.

ugh... i hate wearing a watch. What does that say!?! My cell phone tells me when I have to work...alarms in time for me to shower and get ready for the next client. Can't wear a watch in my job. Not a big jewlery fan at all. I'll wear a wedding ring "when It's legal here". I do wear a cock ring...but thats about it :)

Will wonders never cease! My husband says that he does have a dream car in mind, and all this time I thought he just didn't care.

He lusts after a black 1995 BMW Z3. Who knew?

So I asked why doesn't he just get one. He said he doesn't need another car.

I told him it's not about need!!! Somebody talk to him.

Might be a repost - but this is the importance of a mans car...
