I'm excited for this one because, unlike most of the astronomic events you hear about, it's actually true that nobody alive will get a chance to see it again
A co-worker from my health department brought over a square piece of film and we held it up to our eye and looked toward the sun. It was like a little dot in front of the sun. Moments like that make me want to purchase a really good telescope.
ok, now lets hear the number of idiots that went blind trying to view a spot.
Hopefully, nobody made that mistake. I did hear a girl at the next table talking about it being a "man made occurrence". I laughed and then suddenly realized she was totally serious. Ah, those loveable kooks.
