66 views and not 1 comment addressing the link. That's pretty typical of the libs on this board. The link clearly shows that the economy has gotten dramatically worse since Obama took office and continues to free fall. Real unemployment rate is 11.6%.

Shocking we need to immediately repeal child labor laws and force the elderly to work to fix the trend. the 16% includes everyone above the age of 16 as being unemployed a better statistic would focus on those outside of school as devoting yourself to school rather than work is not indicative of a problem.that cuts the number to less than 9% then adjusting for retirement the number drops below 8%.

In fact, this chart is a great illustration of how the conservative Bush Administration took an economy of growth in 2000 and basically destroyed it by the end of his era in 2008.

Also, the second graph, while it looks dramatic, is only a difference of 10,000 in a land of over 350 million people

Well that's part of the problem. People can't find work so they've chosen to take out a bunch of student loans and go to school so they can afford to live. This is a growing trend among the unemployed. Student loans are an easy source of money. When these people graduate they're stuck with $40,000 of debt and a job market that is pretty weak. Not to mention the falling wage rates. A Bachelor's degree is quickly turning into as useless as a high school degree.

Unfortunately the only other real option is to vote Republican and I believe there are far too many Americans with common sense to do so. I predict Obama wins and the Republican party continues to implode.

I firmly believe that the unemployed know who they can thank for their situation, if not themselves.

It's not about
Win or lose
Because we all lose
