Any bets on Euro 2012?

gemany has some new and very young players in his team. a lot of them could become a shootingstar, like Müller 2 years ago. -by this germany is next to spain the favorit . no

spain could win again, but right, some of their importent members arent even part of the crew, cause they are hurt. - by this it could become difficult.

an other big favorit are the netherlands. - portugal isnt good enough, they had their chance with luis Figo and they missed it.

also italy is a very big favorit. the last time they had a big scandal in their league, they became world champion

I'd like the Netherlands to win. Can't see England going beyond semis at best. They look too tired again after the Premiereship slog.

I might watch the England games but i'm not very happy about the TV schedules being changed so Poland v Greece or any match that doesn't involve England can be shown. Show all the England matches on the BBC and put the rest on Sky is what I say.

As for the tournament, as I said the England games should be fun but we're apparently one of the worst teams in the world now so a 1st Round elimination beckons, which i'll then lose interest and ignore the rest of the Euro's.

As for your bets, go for the team with the highest population, which is Germany, I think.

as a portuguese i tell you that Portugal dont have a chance, they lost today against Turkey for 3-1, and didnt win against Macedonia.

and everyone is angry because they are one of the most expensive team, and they go to the most expensive hotel in poland....when the country is in austerity measures...I will do an embargo to Portugal team this year, will not watch or care about any game they do.

people are even telling that is better for the team coming home early so it could be cheaper than having to supporting the costs until the end, the end they will never reach.

dont know how is in your country but most of the money that pays those kids through the Portuguese Federation of Futebol is from the state, the media deal with them like they were the salvation of the country.

"why shouldnt take an expensive hotel??" not even german which is a rich country, they go to 5 star hotel while german team go to 4.

people are saying that they prefer to lose earlier than later because they can save more money coming home early.

In this Euro, Portugal is the most expensive team, spending more than 33 000 € PER DAY used by citizens taxes.

heres the list:

1. Portugal - Opalenica 33.174 euros
2. Russia - Varsovia 30.400 euros
3. Poland - Varsovia 24.000 euros
4. Ireland - Sopot 23.000 euros
5. Germany - Gdansk 22.500 euros
6. Czech Republic - Wroclaw 22.200 euros
7. England - Cracóvia 19.000 euros
8. Netherlands - Cracovia 16.200 euros
9. Italy - Wieliczka 10.500 euros
10. Croatia - Warka 8.300 euros
11. Denmark - Kolobrzeg 7.700 euros
12. Spain - Gniewino 4.700 euros

its hilarous and disrespectful when the country asks for money from outside, and the people struggles for food and dont have jobs.

Just to remind that they NEVER won anything which justifies this luxury, we have champions from other sports and these ones are always struggling for better trainings.

germany got the one nearly every one wanted... so maybe a good one.
the hotel is payd by the DFB, an independent organisation, that gets his money out of many sorces, like members, merchandising, advertisments and from clubs. also for support of children, money from the state. but the hotel or the hotel or a bonus for the titel, the DFB as to pay

but maybe ur right and it shows a wrong picture, if it is so expensive

at least for germany i know, we rent the whole hotel till the end of the turnement... so it wouldnt less expensiv, if we are out very early

arent there 4 missing??? what about france, can imagen they spent more ;)

is it per player or per staff member?
cause a whole hotel for 22.500 per 23 players would be acceptable. but if you count 5 trainer, 3 doctors, 4 masseurs, a bus driver, the manager and sportdirect, plus who ever, it could become expensive.
interesting thing is, spain and italy wanted the same hotel as germany... looks like it was the price, why germany made it

they get it cause they are used to it...
do you believe christiano ronaldo would join the national team, if he knew je had to live at a youth hostel?
he gets it cause he wants it.

I will make a boycott to this euro and I think more people should do the same.
