| | Underwear issues
So far, I've lost around 35 lbs and still counting. While I'm working on more loss, I'm encountering the obvious issue of needing to buy new clothes. When it comes to underwear, I'm really getting frustrated, though.
I tend to wear anything, usually whatever will fit, but I've been trying to buy things that look good (aka, sexy), too. The problem is that while some things are still a little tight, other things that are my size (L) are downright uncomfortable, except for boxers.
Anybody else been through this with some helpful feedback? (Please refrain from commenting if the only thing you have to say is "lose more weight."). Since I'm still losing weight, I also feel as though free balling might not be the ideal solution, either. Regardless, some tips would be awesome.

What do you normally wear? Boxers? Briefs? Thong?
I can, personally, vouch for the "Starter" brand boxerbriefs at WalMart. They're cheap, available everywhere, and include enough of a spandex component that they hold up for the time you're going to need them.
I've also discovered that a higher spandex percentage makes for more comfort, so also check out your local TJMaxx or ROSS, and see what they have. I found that boxerbrief trunks, by a brand named PLAY fit me perfectly, for the moment...and the cut, which goes right in the leg joint, is not impacted by the size of my legs.
As for your weight loss, 35 pounds? Wow!!! I'm down "only" 14 pounds...quite proud of myself.

Thanks for the grats! One thing I can tell you, you're never supposed to use the word "only," as each bit of weight loss is a triumph unto itself.
I'll definitely check out PLAY as a brand, and try to hunt down Starter. I usually wear boxers because they're really the only thing that's roomy. I like trunks and boxerbriefs, too.

I agree with redneckgymrat. The PLAY brand is one that I wear quite a bit, especially the boxerbrief trunks he talked about. They fit me great (especially after I've lost 30 pounds of my own, so far). I also really enjoy the briefs from a brand I can't seem to remember (the tag writing has faded away). Anyway, the logo on the waistband is a 'U' with a crossbar above it. Those briefs fit me amazingly.

Take a gander at them thar rules.

Wow, awesome. I'm going to look some of these up now. Masked, if you remember the brand's name, please send it to me.

Just a few thoughts to liven the discussion while I search the web for underwear:
1- Why is everything in black and white now? I remember seeing more colors in years past
2- Can I get one of these models with the pair I order?

Okay...so I really like the line "Evolve" at Target. They are manufactured by 2Xist exclusively for Target. It is a second tier line but it is great for the price - 50% the cost of 2Xist. They have a good amount of spandex and the cut has tremendously improved since the line was first introduced. I think they are sexy and they have briefs and trunks - boxer briefs. Take a look and let us know what you think.

I've seen those and considered buying them. My biggest concern was that the spandex would be too constricting. I'm not big, but my junk feels too constricted lately.

Then, definitely try the Starter brand. It's got spandex, but a lower percentage, which seems to provide a less firm support.

I just wanted to report a brand that I'm actually enjoying the comfort of: Uniqlo. They're a Japanese chain that opened up a flagship store in NYC ( http://http://www.uniqlo.com/us/). Their trunks are pretty comfy.

I'm personally a big fan of 2(x)ist, so hearing that Evolve is good makes me happy.

I, too, found an Asian brand that fits me well. It's called Xuba, and it fits me perfectly. I got trunk boxerbriefs with a remarkably comfortable pouch...nice bamboo-spandex blend.
