My younger sister has been researching this to death and she's told me some interesting details. Some have wide-angle lenses capable of spying on areas as large as 8x8 miles and can track 65 targets at once and that will probably increase with time.

Some can be armed and with Obama asserting the right to kill Americans who he decides to label terrorists that can actually be sooner than later. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the definition of terrorism Obama's using are unclear, and the definition of terrorist keeps conveniently expanding to include activities even including protest (In 2009, there was a DoD manual which defined low-level terrorism as protest). With that being said, these drones could easily be used to hunt Americans.

Being that the bill passed, I suggest you start gathering supporters, and creating petitions to sign to get a repeal. You can interestingly exploit a loophole -- you can't write legislators out of state, but you can call them.

Find any legislators that opposed this bill; any that are anti-surveillance or libertarian possibly. Contact people who live in their state if you can that support your views and use them to further bolster your efforts.


BTW: No matter how I die, it was murder; if I vanish -- it wasn't willingly!
