Definitely prefer a hairy bush. A nice thick one gives me an instant hard on. Trimmed is okay, but not completely shaved. Looks awful to me. And yes, I'm a middle-aged man.

bigd and lakeshore - great to have lovers of the hairy bush join this thread and teach these other members that we're no 'fringe' group, but rather a 'growing' minority. I'm hopeful that a new era will emerge when we will be in the minority. Just as fashion is cyclical, I've got to figure that pubic style is too. I say bring back the 70's, 80's, and frankly early-mid 90's. We had bush to eat and fuck back then and guys weren't complaining. We loved it - that's how affectionate terms like "hairpie," "bush," and "furburger" came about. I even remember hearing the term "baseball diamond," which I always thought was cool and should have caught on more.

Personally, I have been shaving for so long that it's quite strange to let my hair grow back! Seems strange to think of, but there it is. I've also noticed that my hair is thick and not particularly soft. So from a tactile/sensual perspective, I prefer to shave as the end result is more pleasing to me. If I were in a relationship where my partner preferred a full bush, I'd try growing it back.

As for men, I prefer natural and/or moderately trimmed. A shaved man appears strange to me, somehow.

I started a thread in Women's issues "Why do women shave their pussys" because I couldn't understand when or why the trend started. It is probably a fad or maybe generational but I love a full wild bush. One that grows right into the woman's asshole. i always dated brunettes because I knew that they had the best bushes. My wife has a full bush and I love diving into it. A shaved woman looks prepubescent. The women in porn in the 70's look so mature and sexy. Hair on one's body is one of the differences between kids and adults.

I knew I had respect for people from Massachusetts, Flynn. I prefer blond and redheads, myself, but that's probably because I come from a brunette family so a brown/black bush reminds me too much of my mom or sisters.

I love my natural bush and I've received a lot of compliments on it from guys who are sick of the shaved off look. The hair creates a little mystery down there, very sexy. And guys with shaved balls and no pubes? EUUUUU...NOT sexy at all.

I must say, if these posts are any indication of the national mood we may be finally experiencing that fateful swinging of the pendulum back to the bush that I have been waiting for. It really doesn't matter so much anymore for me - I'm happily and faithfully married to a beautiful woman with a blond bush who keeps it the same no matter what the fashion. But one thing I'd like to see in my lifetime is a return to the earlier days of porn (70's, 80's) where there was no such thing as "hairy" girls or "hirsute" sites because pubic hair was the norm. I don't like how hair on a vagina has become so marginalized. It's like if a woman doesn't shave (even if she naturally does not even have that big of a bush) by porn and internet standards she's "hairy," "bushy," or "has a big bush." It's gotten to the point where if a woman has even a narrow landing strip she's automatically seen as "hairy," and thereby, a fetish. Lord knows there is enough of a proportion of guys who frequent 'hairy sites,' and plenty of full bush models and actresses available to watch. So it's not that there is a shortage - but I just don't like how is an actress misses her waxing appointment or decides not to shave for a month, she can only get a contract with 'Hairy Honies,' 'Natural Bush,' that guy Rodney something or other, and other like producers and labels.

I'm very much a fan of the full bush. I always say to women i've been with to just let it grow if they want to as I like it. The majority of the time I get surpirsed and relieved reactions from them. They seem to be under the impression they have to shave it all off to conform to 'fashion' and what guys like. Even though I think deep down alot of guys actually like a bush down there. Personally I think it's more womenly and a huge turn on.

When I saw my current partner naked for the first time she had this lovely bush. I loved it.

Next timed it was well trimmed. Still lovely but I preferred the first view.
