Mike Judge, the creator of Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill. There is actually a Highland High School here in Albuquerque, which he attended, and thus he used the name in Beavis and Butthead.
My favorite, Vivian Vance, or rather "Ethel Mertz" as most people know her from I Love Lucy. Her family moved here from Kansas when she was young and she got her start in the Albuquerque Little Theater.
Freddie Prinze, Jr., though he's an asshole who apparently is glad that he's no longer here. He grew up here with his mom and attended all the snottiest rich-kid schools in town.
French Stewart, the guy who was always squinting on 3rd Rock From the Sun. He's from a famous family here who are in the mortuary business, which has the name
French Mortuary.
Jim Morrison lived here for a time and went to school here.
Steve-O, from Jackass, was born and raised here.
Ernie Pyle made his home here.
Xzibit grew up here.
Jay Roach, director of the Austin Powers movies, was born and raised here.
Neil-Patrick Harris, forever better known as "Doogie Howser, M.D.", was born here, but raised in Ruidoso, NM.
That's about it, really. Not many famous people from Albuquerque.
