First time in group shower situation

Honestly I played sports all through middle and high school but never really had the group shower experience. In football a few guys would take showers but they were a minority. Ive been through locker rooms and stuff seein a few people here and there but never partook.

We had a live in week at my frat and the mornings were done boot camp style 15 mins to get ready. So the 25 of us did group showers.

I am very comfortable with my body so it didn't bother me one bit.

It was interesting to me as it cleared some misconceptions for me. Basically, everyone minded their own business. I thought people would be a lot more nosey and stuff. I didnt hear one penis comment/joke at all.

My conception on penis size changed as well. I used to think my flaccid size was small. I noticed that everyone was a lot smaller than the average size ihad in my mind and almost everyone was the same size. I also fit in that category. So my overall confidence has went up a bit.

It seemed that everyone was circumcised, didnt see a single uncut person.

My 7th grade PE class was the first time I ever had to take a group shower. I was nervous the first time, but each day got a little better and by the second week I didn't think anything about it. The locker room was shared by about 60 boys from the 7th and 8th grade. I don't remember anyone having a hard time with it or anyone getting teased or anything like that. We had a very good, but tough, coach.

After that, high school was no problem. Most of the kids in high school did not shower after PE, except the guys that played on a team. I was on the lacrosse and wrestling teams, and everyone always showered after practice.

I started showering at the gym with my dad when I started playing sports and workout about 4 mornings a week now and I always shower afterwards. Most of the guys at my gym are very casual about being naked in the locker room and no one seems to have any problems.

Well, I have sport classes at school since my 5th grade and I (and everybody) have always showered together. Never heard a coment or a joke about anyones bodies. I and most of the people I know, have no problem being naked in front of other man (and for me is the same being naked in front of man or woman... ) but I found last year, when I came to the university and found people from all over the country, that some people are not very comfortable being naked in front of each other. My roommate, for example... we live in the same room since the last year (so... we live together about a year and half) and I never saw him undressing when I'm in the room. He always goes to the WC.

I don't understand why so much trouble for some people to get naked in front of other people... damn it... it's like showing other part of the body... retarded people...

I never knew that one is supposed to get nervous in a communal shower. Whatever for? Scared somebody might notice what sex you are?

Lots of people, lots of showerheads. Presto, group shower. Like there is some other way that costs less or is more practical?

The biggest problem with showering in public places like that, is when there is no time, like in gym at school. People seem to mind their own business pretty well, and babies are born naked, so obviously, some reasonable level of public nudity is just required, so it's normal in lockerrooms and showers.

Swimming nude was probably okay when that's how it was done, but I have never had that experience, and can't imagine how I would now, that would be appropriate. I don't go swimming anymore anyway. Don't have time and gasoline prices are too high.

Encourage large families worldwide, so that far more people may enjoy life.

I was nervous my first time, mostly because I did not want to get wood. It was at a gym. I, being a teen guy, happened to get hard by a swift breeze. I did get wood, then after that, it didn't happen again. I can shower, change, do what ever, and I'm ok with it.

But if you're obviously embarrassed by it and try to hide then others will think you have reason to do so. If you walk in just as confident as the biggest guy, talking to everybody, having fun, pretending you don't have a care in the world then you know what they think?

So while your cock may not get respect, the man it's attached to does and that's worth far more in that kind of social situation.

My first time in a group shower was when I was in 7th grade. I was 12 and I was in the shower room with 7th and 8th graders. I was so very small compared to the other guys. It was interesting. I checked out some of the guys.

In those cases though it's OK. The problem is when you have chest hair, beard, and lower voice yet your genitals still look like they're stuck at 11. I never grew a single inch beyond when I was 12!

If you're not in puberty or are even in early puberty it's expected that you'll be smaller. There's no shame in that.

My first time even changing in a swim suit I was probably in fifth grade when me and some friends went to the pool. I didn't realize we'd be changing in front of each other until it happened. I don't think I was nervous, but it was interesting. We had met my friend Tim's brother at the pool and we changed back into our street clothes with the older kids after we were done and that was the first time I had seen another post-pubescent penis live. It was bigger than ours, and I was confused and intrigued all at the same time.

We had mandatory showers in seventh grade. Once you got over the first few days of jokes and what not, it was all normal. Some kids still hadn't started changing but you never ever said anything because then you would be called a queer. I did a lot of comparing at the time, so I had seen a lot of the same guys with hard ons, but we still never ever commented on anything in the showers.

High school I probably showered three times a day - morning, gym class, after football, or soccer or baseball or whatever sport I was playing. By that point, I was comfortable with my body (that comes with regular sexual outlets, I would infer) and it was no big deal. Some days I looked big, other days there were bigger kids. It's not like there's a constant soft size for each person. The more you showered with the same guys, the more you got used to it and the less it mattered. Same thing in college. Most of my friends before I turned 23, I'd seen naked at some point. You get used to it.

i have yet to shower in a communal shower but i am planning on it but im a little nervous that ill get an erection(i,m 17) can you all give me some pointers on how to keep me soft

ive had an idea of of getting a shower head in the corner .

I honestly wish there were more group showers. I mean, presently I have not been in a group shower in over a year. I have thought about suggesting it to my gym. The facility I work out at has only one changing/shower room for the guys, and I would rather have them convert it to a group shower room; it just seems more efficient instead of waiting.
