Tags dating, losers, relationships, single, standards
So.... I'm officially SINGLE again ;)
As of last Sunday night.... so a little over a week ago....
I just got sick of it. I thought to myself "Do I like him.... or the idea of him?" Obviously you know the answer to that.
I haven't heard from him since Sunday evening. and the endings of our conversation went like this:
Him: "I'm sorry"
Me: "Don't be... it doesn't matter..."
Him: "It matters to me"
That's it.
THAT'S IT.
I guess I found out all my answers to all the questions that I had before...
I'm not sad about it.... actually, I was relieved. I have so many other important things going on that it pissed me off that he didn't care. Who doesn't care a rats ass about the person you're dating? A selfish person... that's who.
I may sound bitter, but trust me... I'm not. I'm very real with my expectations with myself and others and come to find out... I've yet to find someone to meet my expectations. lol
Is the bar high? Yes. It is. But I'm a down to Earth, fun, easy to be around, lady. I deserve better than jerks.
This is the point where you raise your glass and we say in unison.... "Here's to the men we've loved and haven't loved us... Fuck the men, here's to us" :)
