Hey all,
This is the first blog I have ever done so I will use this opportunity to tell you all about myself.
First off, I am 29 years old from one of the best cities around, Chicago. I am a professional musician. I perform it, teach it, conduct it, and lately been trying my hand at writing it.
I am the youngest of four. My parents are awesome. My mom is a C.P.A (certified public accountant) and my father is retired. My father is definitely one of my heros. He has battled colon cancer and won, battled prostate cancer and won, and now is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This battle, he has slim chance of winning but we don't claim it. My sister is one of my best friends and she is battling stage four breast cancer. So the two people closest to me in my life are both battling terminal cancer so needless to say the last year have been hell, but that fact that they are still here, and do well (considering), and still full of live keeps me sane.
So that's the the public me. As I stated in a post on the thread Post your Secret under the Relationship, Discrimination, and jealousy. (see link)

I have recently Identified myself as being bisexual. No one knows. not my family or even my closest friends (even the gay ones). I am still coming to terms with it. Not to make it sound like a terminal illness or anything. Eventually I will tell my friends then my family. But right now, I am enjoy the secrecy or maybe im just used to it. It's been a secret since I was 13. As for being on this site, I don't even know if I should be. I really don't think Im that large, but i've been told that I have a nice one by both men and women. Maybe I will stop being cheap and buy a gold membership and post some photos, and maybe I'll wait til Im doing losing weight. Which I happen to be in the process of doing. I am a big guy about 368 and I've lost 10 pounds working out with a trainer, even though I have been in 2 weeks. I kinda feel like a fat ass again.
I guess that's about it for now anyway. I going to try to keep this going. If there is anything anyone wanted to know about me just ask. Laters.

Welcome! Thanks for the introduction~ A great first blog.

Really sorry to hear what you are dealing with (your dad and sister). This is a safe place to pour your feelings out. Blogs especially.

Good luck on the continued weight loss... stress can add unnecessary pounds, but your trainer should be addressing that need as well. Good luck.

You will know when the time is right for you to share with your friends and family your sexual orientation. Personally, I don't really see it as a big deal. Good luck with that, too.

And, as far as belonging here? Well, this site is great for all sizes, genders, orientations, etc. I am sure you will find this to be a great source of information and inspiration to you.

There are those here who have been in your shoes (in all of your situations) that can offer you encouragement.
