We were only spending 8 days there,
it was a quick and simple task.

had already been assigned.

As there was only seven of us we were collocated with
some people who were also there temporarily,
undergoing unit training, they had some rooms left.

There is resentment in the reindeer community.
There may very well be an irresistible
urge for a famed group of 8 to
"take matters in their own hooves" as it were.

You see, for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer
Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen,
the boss's new favourite may not be so
welcome.

By some freak twist of fate, given
of an apparent anomaly, Rudolph was an
outcast as far back as he could recall....

I realize I usually dont like "instant" stuff

you know, like...

instant coffee
instant couscous
instant fame

... and so on

invariably, it seems, it's disappointing.
