Last Saturday morning at 6:30 a.m. I began an important experiment. I was determined to wear my Mongo Nutty Buddy Cup for long periods of time, like hours. This amazing athletic cup finally went to market in early March 2007 when Nutty Buddy, Inc. began selling this cup at their web site. I order two Mongos, men's XL size. But these two cups laid pretty much unused in my dresser drawer for a good five years. Oh, I would wear it for maybe an hour or so, but somehow this state-of-the-art...

It is amazing how a normal week flies by. A week from today will be Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving weekend during my Washington, DC years has been a quiet weekend for me most years. I am sure it will be the same this year.

Work on preparations for my apartment renovations continues to go slowly. I continue my walks daily now in an abbreviated fashion, although tomorrow Friday I hope to walk the full five plus miles once again.

Sorry again for the long delay. The days seem to be flying by. I haven't posted an entry into my blog on the Kegels since last week, I think.

I made a little progress on the preparation for the coming renovations to my apartment, but much, much more needs to be done.

Because of this, I haven't been doing as regularly of my power walks lately, but I try to do them daily, sometimes in abbreviated fashion. When I don't do them I get depressed...

We are entering now the golden days of November, great for taking more of those power walks here in Washington, DC when the changing colors on the foliage of the trees are at their height. I still try to walk at least five miles a day, all the while preparing my apartment for massive renovations by apartment management. That process is going on slowly day-by-day. With my power walks, I try to do them carefully not over-straining myself in the same way I do the Kegels....

Alot has happened in the last couple weeks since my last blog entry. After a long hard struggle, I finally consented to management of my apartment building to have my apartment renovated. It entails removing lead based paint from the walls of my apartment. So this is going be a big production when it does happen. But first I have to do some space clearing, mostly throwing out non-essentials and doing some general cleaning of the apartment. This may take a good two weeks....
