Does size really matter in the long run?

I'm not even slightly interested in cock size, couldnt care less how long or thick it is. I'd like some insight. Why does size matter? what makes it so important, is it because society dictates that largeness is better or do people simply like it big, are there guys out there who like small dicks (as unlikely as it would seem)? I've never measured mine because i care THAT little about it (believe what you will sceptics) is it just me?

I am in my 40s and never measured my cock (7x5) until I joined this site. Of course my exposure to small penis reality is fairly a new thing. My father's house was very non-sexual. Modesty was required at all times. Geez we even had to sleep in pajamas and between sheets! In High School I was one of the only ones that took a shower after the games and showers were not required. The coach would shower and he was rather large. I wasn't at all intimidated. I knew Biology and suspected that I wasn't finished growing and I wasn't. When I joined the Army everyone seemed to be pretty equal or a little larger than the more equal ones. We had gang showers back then there was no privacy. In my units, I seriously saw only one guy, no kidding that had a small dick. It was so much smaller than everyone else's I just figured it was a genetic anomaly. What I didn't realize at the time was that based on my size everyone was packing some impressive dimensions. I considered myself and those near me average. Wrong. That means the couple of extremely large ones were probably LPSG large. Then after the Army I went to Jr. College and stayed in the dorms. The one or two small guys that I saw, I figured were still growing. Then years later, I join LPSG and didn't realize the range of sizes of adult male penises. I know this may sound stupid or unbelievable, but this is my experience with cock sizes! LPSG kind of educated me. Even knowing 7-8 is on the upper end of average endowments still don't overly impress me. I guess to be really impressed one has to be 9 or larger like on here!! Yeah you're are rare lol. I still find myself going back to the measuring board from time to time. And like 1Cody said here on LSPG the only sizes that really impress people are the nine and above lol. The way i've read it. Size does matter to some in that it gives a full feeling during sex. Also that certain spots can be reached with a larger member. I've also read some comments toward the fact that it really doesn't matter at all. That it really is the motion in the ocean.
