I play drums. My band just got done recording some new stuff and is taking forever to mix.

I sing lead in a cover band. Just finished recording a demo. I agree with Tattooedncboy, it does a while to mix.

Hey now, nothing lame about being classically trained! It's just... No one will understand you and everyone will think you're a pretentious snob. Which is pretty much like being a physician, right?

Now what really sucks is playing the viola, which everyone will try to pronounce as "veye-ola" and think it's "the one you play between your legs." My usual response is "no, I don't play your Mom."

i play six string fretless bass and mandolin. not currently in a band since i moved away from D.C. my playing style leans heavily toward metal with obvious undertones of classical, preclassical and world music influences. think of J.S Bach meets Morbid Angel meets Dead Can Dance. i've been playing for (christ!) 20 years and have been in several bands. my current project, which hasn't even started yet, is to blend all my various styles and influences from metal, jazz, european folk, australian aboriginy etc, etc into one strange and ecclectic super band featuring a multitude of musicians who play an array of seamingly unrelated instruments

Currently Play Piano, Sing Classical/Opera styles Tenor-Counter-tenor, write/compose music.

mostly play solo concerts and do some teaching. Right now undecided about going in 10 days to a major competition or not, don't feel 100% , but I already qualified for the semis...don't know what to do, my instinct tells me not to go, but then, I have nothing to loose, any fellow musicians want to advise?

I was a leadsinger for over 20 years in different bands and coverbands. For the moment i have no band, but singing is possible everywhere :)

Guitarist here. As I tell everyone, electric, acoustic and a tiny unimpressive bit of classical lol. In a heavy prog rock band atm, trying to find the right people and catch a break... might happen lol

Amateur pianist here. I use to practice completely naked in summer. I love feeling the music on my skin.

I play electric (five string fretted and fretless) bass, acoustic (four string) bass, harp, piano, bodhran, dumbek, didgeridoo, and I sing.

I don't have a cock, but I rock out! I sing and play keys. I sing lead in my group, but have been known to fill in with friends' bands and sing harmony (is all of that southern gospel i listened to growing up!). Mainly cover...from 70's through today.

I play guitar, piano, sing and have written almost 50 songs. My style is a combo of jazz, rock, blues, folk and something that makes my stuff different.
