We used to chat all the time. We told each other what was going on in our lives, no matter how small the detail. I'd talk, he'd listen. He'd talk, I'd listen. We shared so many things. I miss the person that, no matter what I had to ask, always had the right answer to my situation... and always had the best advice. He always was the person that I counted on to actually hear what I was saying. We even filled each other in on how our treatments were going, and what the doctors were saying...

1. The guy is cute and quiet. Doesn't normally talk to anyone. He's a real mans man. But he will always talk to me.
2. When me, him, and a group of friends went on a trip recently, he would follow me around like a baby duck..lol It was kinda cute, and I don't ever use that word.
3. He tells me stuff like... any movie with Ryan Reynolds is good...
4. And he's a gadget whore like myself. On the trip we both took our Android phones, iPads, Canon 5D MkII's... etc.. it was nice to have someone that accessorized

He told me in bed last night... One man all by himself is nothing. Two people who belong together make a world.

Lately it just feels like all the pieces are coming together. For the longest time I've been skeptical about so many things and it really just sucks. My outlook on things could stand to be just a little less bleak. But no matter how bad things get one always has good friends and music to soothe the soul. My newfound love of ALL of Amos Lee's music is simply fucking mellow. It lets you just slow down and relax and think about things. Important things. So many things to think about, so little time....

Sometimes it's hard to remember that everything isn't a piece of cake.
...that people are stupid...evil is lurking just around the corner.
What's important is accepting that there is no reason for everything.
We all try and try and try.
But sometimes you can't find an excuse for certain behaviors.
It just is what it is.
I don't like feeling like I won't be comfortable.
Because I will be. Eventually.
I do have faith in that. That things will be fine....
