making a pattern without dismembering the original. involves blocking each section of the garment, tracing and adding seam allowance. the trick is to not stretch/distort the fabric, or your pattern will be a bit off.
alternatives.. and depending on how detail oriented you are.. break out the ruler and print out some graph paper. take careful and exact measurements of each whole cloth panel/piece. work out curves/angles and such on the graph paper. again, add seam allowance. cut out to use as your pattern.
tip: make sure you mark the pattern with bias direction *which direction you want the fabric to have the most give*
I was a bit concerned about how it would be received. Atheists always seem to bully those of us who actually believe in something...how DARE he belittle that kid. And for what...believing in something, and saving himself for marriage?!
