One life to live to make a difference
only an unknown amount of years days months days left in our existence
19 years 10 months and 2 days have done nothing but make me doubt
What is my purpose... what is this sacred existence about?
Pray to God everyday to just show me a sign
cuz the darkness eats me away like a tumor non-benign
some days i see light at the end
just one more turn around a bend
then im bumped back to start all over again

It must be nice to be wanted....
It would be nice to feel that warm and fuzzy feeling inside where you know
That someone wants you
Someone that gives you the time of day
A loving voice that says hi once every so often
It must be nice to have someone want to be happy with you
Unfortunately i spend most of my days alone wandering through my brain

I wrote this poem to a special friend of mine... I haven't sent it to her but I'm going to share it with you guys. It started out while i was reading this book and organizing it into poem form. Check it out. I really hope she likes it.
