As many of you know, my mom passed away on December 14, 2008. And now the last letter I got from my dad this week, he's saying that he's going to the doctor all the time, but he isn't being more specific. My work schedule is very hectic right now and I haven't been able to call him like I really should, or even answer his calls since I'm always at work until pretty late at night, 6 days a week. He's still wanting to come and see me, but I can't help wondering how he's doing right now. Since tomorrow...

This isn't something for a thread, like my "Difficult Songs" thread... but I thought I'd do a blog on it because there are a few songs I've heard that are NOT in the karaoke books, and are in my vocal range, so I wish they were! So here they are...

My mom died tonight, at 6pm. What's even worse is that I was at work at the time and had no idea. It was a very sudden thing, and my family all live several states away. They don't even know as of right now what she died from.

This boggles my mind. I'm writing this on November 8, and when I went to HEB tonight they were playing Christmas music! WTF??? It's not even Veteran's Day yet! They probably started playing Christmas music right after Halloween.

I remember when stores didn't play Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. I prefer that. I'll bet all the people working at those stores would prefer that too!

I do have to admit that I find certain Christmas music amusing when...

Oh, great! I stay up way too late last night on chat with njqt466, Jovial and others, thinking I didn't have to be at work until 1 pm, then I get a call from my boss this morning at 8 am! At first wanting me to work at another store starting at 10, but then that didn't work out over there so he's having me come in to where I usually work starting at 10:30. I'm sleepy!

I was going to do a yoga class after work too. May still do that if I don't fall over asleep first!
