Those statements at the beginning of each segment were only added after a great deal of criticism.
Sometimes he wasn't anywhere near the wild.
He clearly wasn't forthcoming in the early going.
Discovery channel re-edited some of the segments to reflect the truth.
Now he gives a more accurate picture of what he's doing.
FWIW, I'm not for 'im or agin 'im, MAJOR2910.

Im talking about his new series for channel 4(UK) called Born survivor. I dont think Discovery channel actually made the shows & possibly took the disclaimer off in the first place! When they realised some viewers were too dumb to realise that it was an educational show & not a "Bear struggles to survive...for real" show they stuck it back on. In interviews Bear is totally honest about what he does. He's also just done a tv show where he & his pal used selfmade motored parachutes to fly up to the top of mount everest. I shit myself just watching it! The guy clearly has balls & is up for extreme challenges.

Bear is HOT. seriously. and i never expected Bear to be out there in the wild "surviving" but teaching how to survive. plus, he does everything on the show and eats enough shit to keep my interest.

i love it when he gets naked. he seems to like it. nice ass.

He also did a series where he trained with the French Foreign Legion. One of his comments was that even though he was ex-army himself, he found it seriously hard going and was impressed by the fitness of the guys who got through it. Says a lot for the Legionnaires, eh?

Bear Grylls has the curious quality of keeping me glued to my TV while simultaneously wishing I were playing in the bush.

His bush.

(Couldn't help it.)

(No really, I lose control.)

nothing like Survivorman who is in the wilderness with himself and his camera, no camera crew or 5 star hotels like Bear was outed with. Bear actually attempted to lead people to believe that he would be spending the night in a camel, etc. when he wasn't.
He's still entertaining, hot body and can seemingly piss on demand so I still watch him.

At long last, a partial nude of Discovery Channel's Bear Grylls has surfaced. Too bad we don't get to see more, but his nut sack (and maybe a wee bit of peen) is clearly visible. Since he's naked in Siberia in this segment, his dick probably wouldn't be at its best anyway.

Yeah, I saw that pic a little while ago and was totally excited. Personally I would have liked for him to be naked in the desert so that he wouldn't be so affected by the weather. Lol!!!

That guy is a complete tool, he has 2 kids yet still carrys on with all this bs. Fair game to him before he got married , but come off it does he really want to be another Steve Irwin and leave his kids without a Dad?

this picture is not new at all......... people need to stop exaggerating their titles. next time write "old pic of bear grylls with an indistinguishable flab of skin between his legs that most people have already seen" so i don't have to click on a link all excited, only to be disappointed

I'm glad I saw this. I've only just heard the name before now but without seeing the face. I have always confused this name as belonging to that moron who actually lived among the bears in AK a while back and ended up.....you guessed it! mauled to death by a......right again!!! a grizzly bear. i certainly won't say he deserved it, but....well....

so glad to stand corrected.

The bloke has dependents now, theres a difference in putting your life in unnecessary danger and living. When you have children their needs will always come before yours.

OK, I don't get it. First, when people found out that the show is just an over-exaggerated reenactment of a dangerous scenario, they got all offended and called him a fake. Which i don't think is true, because he is a lot SMARTER than steve irwin by just reenacting as a form of TEACHING the public.

Yet, Guardian doesn't like him because he puts himself in danger and he has kids....

First of all, he is not in as much danger as the scenes make it appear, and he has an entire team of cameramen, other survivalists/safety/paramedics with him, and a helicopter, that could help him if any problems arose. Second of all, what's better, being there for your family and having very little money, or quasi-risking limb (not even life) so your family can have a more than comfortable, upper-class lifestyle?

That's like getting mad at any x-treme sports athlete just trying to make a living, or even anyone who rides a motorcycle and has a family for that matter.

Hmmmm I dont know verry much about this Bear dude, cute-ish guy btw looks like he's got a decent package. I just wanted to raise a few points with regards to Mr Irwin for all those out there that seem to find it easier to hate him.

To start off with Steve died in a freak accident one that could of happened to any Diver and almost as if to back that point up not 6 months after Mr Irwins tragic accident a man was speared through the foot by a stingray barb while paddling of the coast here in Australia..... so Mr Guardian while i understand your concern for all the children of the world I think you might wish to take that into account.

Secondly Steve Irwin was a highly trained wild life specialist who had been dealing with animals his entire life so you can garuntee that dispite his tendancy to be a bit of a joker he gave those animals thier due respect.

Thirdly regardless of what a persons personal "opinion" of him may be the fact is that he has done the world a huge favour by raising animal awareness around the world. He was a warrior for the fair and equal treatment of animals and has done innumeral services to the animal welfare community and he should be praised for that as a hero IMHO

Lastly with regards to his children, while nothing can ever replace have thier father they will grow up knowing thier father was a pioneer for animal welfare and there is a large community of people who respect and love thier father as a hero for that. They will also be raised with every oppotunity for happiness thanks to the wealth thier father left them.

I would suggest to every-one who find it so quick to pass judgement on a man simply becuase he's a bit of a larikan to think long and hard about what that man has accomplished in his life......and then ask themselves.......can i forgive a man his personality for all the good he has brought the world

If your answer is not then my final words to you are...... what have you accomplished with your life that makes it so preciouse and grand that you have authority to pass judgement on one who has achieved so much.
