Fake Obama Thesis Story Goes Viral, Because Of Stupidity
thank you slurper for this one. It is true that the birthers have lost billions of brain cells due to Swine flu.
This headline says it all... :biggrin1:
What's really funny is that my wife was reading this aloud to me from the print edition and read the title and first few lines as "mormons." Easy enough mistake to make.
That's truly amazing.
Amusing, amazing, or vomit-making? You be the judge.
Birthers, Tea-Baggers - now what?
...the anti-vaccination crowd's war on science and common sense is getting louder.
What a bunch of fukin loons I swear . Going to such exhaustive lengths to cover their racism ! This borderline treasonous movement along with their leaders are great though b/c of them only 20% of Americans identify themsleves with the Right-wing fanatics formerly known as the GOP. Give them enough rope and time and they will surely hang theirselves !
I think I love you
Quite apparent you are not looking for intelligent debate, just take the .001% of an ideology and have a field day amongst your pathetic like.
Next time, just start a thread "Obama perfect, Halliburton still bad, Faux News is not news, Olbermann is a journalist, the Daily Show is the only honest balanced how on TV, etc..."
any chance you could honestly tell the LPSG community how many prescription medications you take? no really...
And why should anyone be looking for intelligence with people who actually thought this thesis, posted on a satire blog, was actually real? If this was a litmus test for common sense, people like Limbaugh, Dobbs and the rest of the Obamaphobes who actually believed any of this nonsense would have failed miserably.
By all means... I wish we could sticky this thread.
"We’ve often castigated the press and mainstream media for getting it so very, very wrong on the issue of vaccines and autism and its all-too-often credulous treatment of the anti-vaccine movement. That’s very important. However, it’s also equally important to recognize mainstream media outlets when they get it so very, very right. That’s why, with minimal fanfare, I’m simply going to refer you to an article in WIRED Magazine entitled An Epidemic of Fear: How Panicked Parents Skipping Shots Endangers Us All by Amy Wallace. I particularly like Wallace’s calling out some prominent anti-vaccine activists, such as Jenny McCarthy, Jim Carrey, Don Imus, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr."
This statement is very important. Painting everyone with the same paintbrush doesn't always work.
quite the contrary - I just know I'll never find it with you.
Slurper posting this thread really pissed you off didn't it?
"Limbaugh noted later on in his show that it seemed the excerpts were fake, though he said he didn't care, both because of a series of quotes falsely attributed to him recently and because, "I know Obama thinks it.""
And this won't make him happy either...
YouTube - Keith Olbermann's "Worst Person" - Rush Limbaugh Gets Punked
Limbaugh got "punked". Hysterical!
Stay classy, folks.
Who besides Dan Rather thought this was real?
Rush Limbaugh (as provided in a link previously), Lou Dobbs... you know, the usual Obamaphobes. Didn't know that Dan Rather fell for it as well.
