Well... If you were a guy who'd lost his penis in an accident or through disease, you wouldn't be made to feel very good by hearing such an opinion. C'mon people. This is a site where we deal with our relationship with the penis. Some guys have to deal with life without theirs. I like to think I'd be able to survive - maybe transcend is the term I'm looking for - the loss of mine.

I mean, I love my penis, but I don't think it's healthy to depend on it, because anything can happen. Several guys I know have lost the use of theirs. ie. One guy I know had to have Trans Urethral Prostatectomy because he had Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (prostate enlargement caused his bladder to block. It's very common in older guys). The surgery destroyed his ability to get an erection. Another of my mates has Diabetes, which has made him impotent. Without erections the peins is just a little hose. It's all very well to go 'OMG, you'd be better off dead without your penis and/or balls,' but really you have to get your head around the idea because both can and do happen, and not just in fantasy or horror stories.

I've seen forced sex/rape discussions played out quite happily on this site, with many, MANY women loving the idea of being slapped and choked and worse. The idea that people are losing their lives from acting out these fantasies is quite ludicrous. Bestiality is generally illegal and non-consensual given that animals can't give consent so I don't see how it can be compared to forced sex/rape scenarios between consenting adults.
