After 50, it takes a little longer to get erect and sometimes the erection is ony a semi. I got a free sample of 20 mg cialis from my doc at my annual physical and gave it a try. Stuff is great. Only problem for me was that I got a muscle ache in my hammies that lasted for 36 hours, which is about the time the stuff stays in your system. (Yeah, it really does work that long compared to a 2 hour Viagra stiffy; although, I have never tried it or Levitra.) My legs ached so bad I swore that I wouldn't take it again, but the stuff gives you the boners of your 20's--rock hard and with even just kissing (on the lips--not ncesarily your dick) you get erect right away if you are turned on. The stuff is long lasting in the event you want to go another round in the morning when you wake up if she will go for it again.

I tried it again after I said I wouldn't due to the aching legs. I have found that if I quarter the 20 mg dose so that I just get 5 mg, I do not get any muscle or back ache, and I have no other side effects--just the quality hardons of your youth. Obviously, I don't have ED, but it gives the older guy a BIG boost and I have no problems getting it up right away.

You will save money by getting your doc to give you the 20's and then cut them down to the dose you need. My drug insurance is with Medco, and they are charging a bigger co-pay if you use more than about 2 a month, but it is worth the extra money for the extra bangs.

Older guys: take these on vacation, and get laid on a daily basis--if you can talk her into it.

Love this shit! Hope this is helpful to someone.

Viagra gives me super stiffies, but it delays my ejaculations way too long. My wife would lose interest before I would come. Cialis gives me a nice erection and lasts for hours. Doesn't delay ejaculation. Cialis is my hard-on maker of choice.

Tried all 3 and found Levitra suited me best by a long way. Viagra was the worst.
In the UK Lloyd's on line chemist does 8 X 20mg for £46 free 1st class postage but you need a private prescription from your doc.

I usually take a half pill and the effect last for about 12 hours. Apart from slight stuffiness for 20 mins no other side effects.

Bloody brilliant! Feel like a 40 year old again!!

PS I would certainly be very wary about ordering from a non UK source. There are adverts on the TV over here about "generic" (no such thing) pills having all sorts of contaminants in them.

I have neither taken Viagra or Cialis but am very interested in giving one or the other a try very soon. I have no ED problems, but I tend to cum rather quickly. I'd prefer whichever would most likely keep me going for longer.

Can anyone give me their suggestions on which one may work better to last longer? If you have a good idea on the right milligrams as well that would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

There is a drug now available for premature ejaculation. The main problem with it is that it very expensive. You can get the same effect by using a little bit of anesthetic cream on the glans of your penis after you have had some foreplay. Wait until you are "worked up" before application.

I had serious problems with Viagra over this issue. I would get rock hard but it would completely prevent ejaculation. I could hump for two hours straight keep the erection, be dripping with sweat, get near the edge several times and never get over that edge. If Premature Ejaculation is the problem a very low dosage of viagra might actually cut that back.

Cialis is much subtler, easier to forget you've taken. The flaccid state feels normal whereas with Viagra there was always a sense of swelling. Sexual stimuli get a more intense and immediate boner reaction, but the hardon is also more vulnerable to collapse caused by distractions than with Viagra. However, you have the confidence that the boner will pop right back up as soon as the distraction is over.

No Response
It's clear from all the previous responses that each of the ED meds work...they simply work differently with different persons. All seem to have some type of side effect, and a person just has to decide which is the least uncomfortable for him. My suggestion is to go to your urologist where you will get samples of each ED med for a trial. Then you will know which is best for you. One thing is certain...if you like sex, but are unable to get a hard erection now, you will be excited about what these drugs do for you.

I found better results with Levitra and no side effects.

I've tried Viagra and Levitra, each only once. Viagra gave me a terrible headach and I was still up and down (always been that way, really). Levitra kept me up (up up up up), which left me so desensitized after a typical (for me) five or six hour edging session that I just gave up: I could easily have gone on indefinitely, but his ass was getting sore

Have never commented here before but felt like I could offer some helpful input. Agree with you on the Cialis vs Viagra. The effect is longer (up to 48 hours for me) without the harsh side effects. (headaches, flush, elevated blood pressure).
Agree with you on the price also. I have found an online pharmacy that mails me 30 50 mg Cialis (generic) for $124. It takes about two weeks to receive the meds so you should plan ahead. After three orders I am completely satified. (my first order I was suspect and called and told them so. They imediately shipped me 30 more tabs and did not ask for the other back. As it turned out they were fine. I just was not used to the Cialis yet). One last thing I would mention as you and I may be close to the same age. I started hormone replacement nine months ago. (Testostorone, I was not low for my age but was half the amount from twenty years earlier) Best hundred dollars a month I ever spent. Have replaced fat with muscle. Sleep better. And my libido went through the roof. In combination with the Cialis I strike fear in my partners. The best compliment I received was ("that is like sticking a bar of steel into me"). To quote George Bush "mission accomplished". Hope this is helpful for you.

What is the name of the online Pharmacy you got your Cialis from?

I agree completely! Since they all come in different strengths, don't write off one brand until you've tried stonger (or weaker) doses.

Ok, here is my experience as a GP who prescribes these things.

If your blood vessels are fucked from cardiovascular disease, there are no magic bullets except possibly injections of Alprostadil and various mixtures of phentolamine and papaverine.

Cialis has a window of some 36 hours from absorbtion until its effect tends to go and its absorbtion is not affected by fatty foods unlike viagra and its effect lasts only 4 hours maximum. With Cialis, you can be more spontaneous without having to worry if its going to loose its effect and unlike viagra, it is less likely to give you facial flushing and altered colour perception.

Partners of cialis and viagra users tend to favour cialis over viagra also. The clear winner in my experience is Cialis. Livetra is just viagra with less potency.

Tried all three.
Viagra did not seem to do much of anything... except give me tachycardia...
There is a large percentage of men for whom Viagra has no significant positive effect.

Levitra somewhat better, but not the miracle claimed.

Cialis... perfection....
It does not give me a boner... it simply makes my dick respond the way it did when I was much younger.

I don't even think about it.... things work like they should and I am not concerned.

That is worth the price, right there... that sense of natural response, as opposed to some pill that gives you a boner regardless.

Its good for my blood pressure...
The only downside is a stuffy nose.
Thus far.

The difference in the effects is related to your genetics, and the specific deterioration that is causing decreased potency.

I think folks should try them out and go with the one that seems to be most effective for them.

does cialis raise or lower your BP??? my doctor told me when I asked about the daily 5 mg tablet that she would not recommend it for me, because it causes the BP to go up.

I do like cialils better, I take a 10 mg and it last for about 3 days. and it feels just natural, if I'm with my wife and we get a little flirty, I'll pop a chub, carry it further and rock hard in a few seconds. just like I was mid 20's again. after the first time I took it, we were riding in the country, just cruising. we started talking a little sexy. I bulged my pants, she saw it, reached over and caressed it with her fingers, and my cock head just popped over the top of my jeans. she was amazed and thrilled. so when we got home, I laid some pipe.

I've posted a similar reply elsewhere but in my experimental experience if I had to choose between one brand and the other - then Cialis. Viagra was quick but its side-effects (face flush, fast heart-beat, and headache) were much more noticeable. In fact, that didn't happen with Cialis, except for a slight, short headache, not enough to make me think twice. Max dose in both cases. I tried 50mg Viagra after Cialis. That was better but I prefer the long-term effect of Cialis. However, the best effect for me was a full dose (20mg) Cialis plus 25mg Viagra. Cialis plus 50mg Viagra (half the max dose) was just tolerable and added - maybe - a little more fire-power. I'm wary of side effects with any drug, especially long-term, so if I were/had to take these drugs regularly I'd opt for Cialis + lower dose Viagra mix, or just Cialis.
Meantime, I'll leave well enough alone.
Hopefully, if I have ED problems when I'm older (probably) there will be better options.

I use Alldaychemist.com...Indian they are the cheapest....They do not ship Cialis to the USA for some reason....they charge $25.00 for shipping but the savings is worth it. If your not happy with their pills send them an email, they in turn sent me so many pills in the mail enough for 2 years...check them out

So I got around to trying a 50mg Viagra a few days ago. I must say, didn't notice much of anything. Might be because I don't have ED... but my erection was about the same, if anything... slightly thicker. What I did notice is that it didn't let me cum from head. My gf worked it for a good while and while it felt super good, I couldn't cum from head alone.

I finally put it in, after she got upset that she couldn't make me cum, but I lasted the same amount of time I usually do while I'm in her.

Good info from all you guys.
I've gotten samples of all 3 from doctors but so far have only tried the viagra.
I wanted the insurance of a good sex experience with new partners so I always have cut the 50mg pill in half. The resulting erection was very strong and almost felt artificial, as if it wasn't really my cock....mmmm, like a stiff cardboard replica. The viagra stiffy gave me hours of pleasure...fun to fuck and fuck even with someone else's dick, haha.
The downsides: mid sex I sometimes have had to pee and couldn't get it to go down. Had to pee through erection by standing far from the bowl and leaning in to the wall with my hands bracing me. The pee dribbled out. Took a while to empty.
Got a vague headache. Not really a big bother.
Took a long time to come, required vigorous jerking to get there...however, I shot a thick long rope of cum (one copious strand, from crotch to her chin) that was hilariously fun to witness.
Normally, without v, it would take till a wake-up call in the morning to have another good erection. Viagra didn't do much to get me hard again after I shot my first load. I sort of expected the viagra to give me another erection in, say, a half hour. But I guess it didn't work that way for me. ( I've used it maybe 15-20 times over the past two years with various partners). I do think it helps me over the next day to get intensely aroused with less side effects.
Can we take Viagra more than once a day. Say, 25 mg at night and again in the morning? Anyone have thoughts or info?
