I just read the entire thread regarding the negatives of having a big dick. I was very surprised that no one mentioned that really big dicks often don't point up, and often don't get as hard as smaller ones. I thought the subject was interesting enough to start another thread.

I don't know percentages, but I think more guys point straight out than up. Maybe horny high school/college guys have the pointing up thing going on more often, but I don't think that's the standard you should expect... unless you only wanna date hs/college guys. Mine is not as large as yours, and when turgid, it does point straight up. As you mentioned it is pure physics; with your size, more blood is required to pump it to the desired size - and hence increased weight. Gravity will pull it down somewhat.

Having said that, I have always kept my penis pointing in the upward direction in my underwear. I know some people prefer to keep theirs pointing down. I believe those who keep their penis pointing down have a higher tendency of possessing a forward or downward pointing dick when erect.

I for one can still get very hard, even in my 50s, although I am into double digit territory. But the angle has decreased from just above horizontal to at or just below it. It looks a better angle than it really is because the slight upward curve brings the head up quite a bit.
