Seriously - most people know only what they actually experience, and we often rely on what we hear as gospel. I myself tend to "impale" - to use a term, I've also been impaled. I know a lot of gays who are only oral - no anal at all - except some occasional touching or rimming. The roles are what we choose them to be - I think that would be true of all people - not just gay people.

I would say that something like a sixth of gay men have no anal sex. About a third have it only rarely - more focused on oral. Another third have it maybe half the times they have sex. And a final sixth do it quite often - almost every time they have sex with another man.
